I would rather not have ads on my tablet as I do not want anything to interrupt the weather when I am live streaming.

No, the ad is on the lock screen - you know, when you turn the tablet on, and have to swipe, enter a PIN or whatever, to get in - there's an advert here. This is the only place I'm aware of that has adverts interrupting you. I think under the 'Memory' settings, there might be a link for MicroSD cards to Amazon!

was thinking it probably needed to run standard Android for me to be sure it will interact with anything I find on line.

Amazon Fire comes with its own browser - but I would install Google Chrome, and use that to cast from. No problem here.

My sister has a Lenovo tablet and the sound is not outstanding nor the battery life. How much would I need to pay to get good quality sound and a longer battery life than on the models suggested above?

That's not really relevant - they make cheapo laptops that might have rubbish sound, but that doesn't necessarily apply to the tablets too.

Looks good, 'stereo' sound doesn't guarantee good sound of course, but at least you know you're getting 2 speakers! Good screen resolution, only Android 6.0, but there might be an update available, not a dealbreaker.

Interesting device ... it has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM ... what use is 32GB if all you can do is read from it?
