That DF date is certainly getting closer :D

Ive had good news too, I managed to BT my OH egg to PO @ 0% for 12 months :) so a big phew for me!

I had a look at the MB thread and will have to read it lots more times before I dare venture down that road!

Hows the dieting going? Ive given up chocolate for lent but seem to have developed a toast and marmite fettish!

Thanks H & L it does feel like a bit of a double whammy - but a nice one!

Well done CG on getting a BT. Always nice to know you're not paying interest of the toxic debt. I'm going to work out later which debt to jiggle around in line with OH's bonus (which was confirmed today!!:D ). Have a go at the MBing its challenging in a nice way.

Found out today as well that I'm getting a payrise next month as well (public sector 3 year deal  ) so all in all we should have £120 extra pm. I need to work out what will be left once the council tax rise comes through but hopefully we'll be able to throw an extra £100 at the debt each month :D .

I've got a poorly youngest DS tonight. Took him to the GP when I got home from work and his got a chest infection. OH thought I was overreacting when I took him to the GP but mothers instinct and all that.

Off to tend to the sick, whip up a meal, collect DD from Guides, sort out a washing load, Oh and maybe sink a glass of wine!

  • OK Just getting myself organised to take advantage of the RBS 0% BT. Very nice!!

Felt a bit down today and decided not to spend the bulk of my day off MS'ing! So the three that I'd booked I've released :o probably not a great career move in the MS stakes but its about balance I guess. Feel free to tell me off !!

I've had a little break from ebaying but I'm intending to crank that back up now.

I guess for me its all about balance and I feel that DFWing is taking up every spare moment at present. Whilst I dearly want to be DF at the end of the year I also want to have a little bit of a life. FOr the last couple of weeks its felt as though life is second to debt busting which isn't right is it!

Onwards and downwards (Debt of course) and looking forward to being sub £20k at the end of the month:D

Right just done the sums on the BT and bonus stuff.

BT will take the balance from the MBNA card and move it to the 0% RBS card. This will then have £6300 on it :D at 0% until 12/09.

The bonus will pay off the OS balance on the MBNA card - to clear it - and the balance on the IF card - to clear that!

This leaves us with only 4 cards and the balances will be:

    Halifax LOB £4k, B/card LOB £4k, RBS 0% £6.3K and Tesco 0% £3.9k

Piece of cake to clear that me thinks :rotfl: . IN reality it still needs me to produce £200 per month extra to ensure we're DF by the end of the year. I have a plan and I love a plan...
