Thanks Lucielle I finally managed it :rotfl: I seems to have spent days writing out cheques for the kids stuff!
Still on track and working hard. Not much luck on the ebay stuff but I'll get more bits listed next week.
I've been thinking about my CC's and loans etc and I think that I've hatched a small plan. Its goes like this:- Save up £1600 and pay off the Cahoot loan in December - in hand
- Clear the MBNA card off by December - on track
- Doing 2 will leave £5k of clear credit card
- BT £5k from highest and largest debt IF currently £8.7k at 16.94% to the MBNA card. This will leave £3k to clear on the IF card but this will be the target card so will be cleared in no time since I should be able to pay at least £800 off that pm from Jan
- The remaining cards are all at much better rates so i'll pick them off one by one and the target card will soon clear with a £3k challenge rather than £8k.
- Simple :rotfl: :rotfl:
I still can't face my fear and apply for a 0% card since that would reduce my interest payments completely but maybe when I am feeling brave later in the year.
Targets for what is left of this month:- Sort out my OH and Mum's birthday
- Sort out my tax return - I definately don't want to be doing it in Oct
- Start work on my matched betting fund - facing my fear on this too
- Stay positive

Hi Hypno
Thanks for the message. I have had a fantastic weekend. I went to Spain with my Mum for a family wedding. The wedding and the weather was fantastic and I had a great time with my family, many of whom I've not seen since childhood. :j
The weekend would have been quite expensive (well for my pocket) however my Mum very kindly treated me to the whole trip so apart from a bit of cash spent on buying very small pressies for the kids and a birthday present for my OH it was nearly a MSE stylie weekend. I did feel bad that I wasn't able to afford it but I've consoled myself that Mum is going to be sent a big bunch of flowers this week from me and when I am DF I'm going to return the treat for her!
On the downside my DS came home from school with details about 2 school trips. One in 4/09 £220 and one in 3/10 at £660. So thats at least £1k to find. Still as I pointed out its what we are working for and at least by the 2nd trip we'll be DFW's!!!
Back into the swings of things again now.
More listing on ebay, tax returns, matching betting and generally DFW'ing all over the place to get the money in and the debts gone
