bah to the mystery shop!! It is difficult when trying to fit them into an already busy day!!

I hope you manage to get a bit of a break at the weekend - you could sound as though you need to recharge your batteries x

  • I think we all rollercoaster at times between being highly motivated and being a bit tired of it all. I think because its been an emotional rollercoaster of a week more than anything.

  • Wine whent down particularly well thanks Lucielle

I'm just struggling with the motivation at present.

Sold another item on ebay so thats £15 in the loan kitty.

I've worked 2 extra days so far this month with one more booked in so I should get quite a bit extra this month as I've also got a backdated payrise to come, and some extra hours when I worked a sat am months ago (I know I should have claimed it then). I reckon all that will bring in an extra £400 this month.

The loan fund has £364 in it at present however I've got about £30 to go from another savings account, money tracking in Quidco and bits and pieces all over.

Aiming to get some more bits listed on ebay this week. I've still got 5 items listed and one bought but I need to get more going.

Feeling quite tired and lacking energy at present which isn't good but we are still on track which is good.

    Well done.

  • Thanks Verbatim is should be easy to russle up the last little bit but of course when one challenge is obtained we move on to the next one.

The loan fund is aimed to clear the loan at the end of the year when the balance will be about £1600. I am finding it hard to have the loan clearing fund sitting in the account but its gaining interest!

Next on the list when this is up to the right amount is paying off the MBNA credit card. Since its the target card is getting the most we can afford each month of £293 pm which reduces the balance by £261 pm. The balance is currently £1341 so it should take 5 months to clear. So my aim is to get this paid off by Christmas which is four paydays!!! So essentially I need to find another £293 between now and then........another challenge in the offing for me I think!

Looking forward as I always like to (positive thinking) from Jan we'll be able to throw all our money at the IF card whose balance is currently £8867  .

    I do like a challenge

  • Definately need some since I need to lose some weight as well.

Looked in my wardrobe this am since I seem to be wearing the same things all the time. I've got some really nice stuff in there, a lot with the labels on, which I can't fit into. I figure that I've got two choices:
    1. sell everything that doesn't fit me now and wait until I'm DF to buy some new stuff -not a very attractive option
    2. lose some weight now so that I can fit into the stuff that is lurking in my wardrobe and feel better and more positive whilst we are still DFW's
Its a bit of a no brainer really so I really need to get on with it...............
