Ah, sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick.......!
I reckon matched betting is like sex........you get all nervous for the first time, put it off because you are not ready.....then once you get the first time out of the way you wonder why you were worried in the first place and actually get to quite enjoy it

Ok focus for the weekend - without any MSE tomorrow  - is to get more stuff listed on ebay. The more thats listed the more chance I've got of reaching my target. Its in sight now only £179 to find. I've got a few things in mind to sell which might fetch a little more than £1 so my goal is to get them listed and selling. Got a bunch of parcels to post in the am but thats the job.
Just picked up another mystery shop. Thats three pending which is a first. One this week, one at the weekend and one the following week. Never had that many on the go before. Liking it:D
Working extra on Monday so that one of my extra days done. I do feel guilty about my DS2 but its only an extra couple of days a month and his at playgroup in the am anyway. Working parent guilt never does quite go away!
OK thats it a productive week to be followed by a productive weekend....Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Ok I had a productive day yesterday. I got a few things listed on ebay and quite a few more dug out jsut waiting to be done later today. All is good.
Just about to pay a load of bills for the kids activities  Term has started so the bills come in. i feel like I am heamoraging money at the start of term. Hopefully my new system will pay off ensuring that I do actually have enough money to pay them all.
I've joined up for the NDS September challenge. I'm only aiming for 4 days which doesn't sound a lot but will be I feel!
I've got £17 tracking with Quidco which is good. Once I start the matched betting this will increase since I'll go through Quidco to start with.
Just staying in control of the £'s at present......Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Thought I'd better check in on the debt busting front.
Superfantastic news was that I've become an Aunty for the first time. My little nephew was born on Monday
.
The weeks also been bad on the personal front which has put the debt busting into a rude perspective. We're still on the MSE DFW wagon but bad news for my OH's Dad's health has put things into rude perspective to say the least. Thats not for this forum and I mention it just to give perspective to my post - if I appear down etc.
Sold a few more things on ebay but had to take £25 from the loan fund to buy my DD a violin. Managed to borrow a fyfe (spelling) from a friend and yet to get a bill for music lessons.
Did one mystery shop today, another tomorrow, one Saturday and one next week so there all lined up nicely.
Been trying to list regularly on ebay. I've got 7 things on at present and a few are quite high value (well £20+!) things so fingers crossed if they go I may be near the loan payment target.
At the weekend I was feeling really bad about pulling out some of the kids toys to sell and some of my bits which although I like I'm not using. Now I know they're only things, and this week more than anything I should be realise that, but I find it hard sometimes. I know that they're generally toys that they don't play with but a bit of me feels a little mean...equally I know when we are DF we'll be able to replace them but I still can't help feeling mean. Equally with some of the kids clothes in the past I've have passed them onto friends but now I sell what I can first. Again I know that our need is important now but even so.
Moan over...
In summary: still on track but focusing on family stuffWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
hey working hard sometimes as you mentioned other things put the importnace of money in perspective as long as you arent making more debt and keeping on track thats all that matters
keep going forward and chin up hope ohs dad is ok
speak soon x The loans will pay themselves the credit cards need a kicking :money: DFW Long haulers supporter 132!!:T0 -
Thanks for that amyandjon you are sure right sometimes we need to be given some perspective.
Managed to miss a mystery shop this week which was annoying. It was one i was doing from work and I got caught up in a meeting. I've got one tomorrow which is good so I will get that done first thing.
May be working on Monday next week again which will bring my tally up to 3 days this month. Feel a little guilty about by DS2 but for the next couple of months I will drop it down to 2 extra. This will bring in the money for the loan fund.
Ebay stuff is doing Ok. Nothing ending for a few days so just keep answering the questions. Lost my motivation a little after this weeks events with FIL but I'm sure it will come back.
Finally my new bank account has been opened.......meaning that I can no longer put off the matched betting. Its a good job I didn't start it this week since my head has been all over the place. I'll committ to starting it next week- slowly and surely!!!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0
