    Thanks for all the posts.

I can't believe that we are could technically be DF this month. I'm looking forward to next months payday which is sad and wishing my life away but it will mean the car debt gets cleared. Anyway we'll see what happens as OH's main car still appears to be playing up and its never cheap to get fixed :p

DD went this morning/last night and there are safely there now in France. I'm sure she will have a lovely lovely time.

My ski fund now has £30 in it :o:o. I know that I've stacks of time but at least its a start. I did a MS today which has boosted the funds a little. I've not been doing them as you know but I need to start cranking it up a little if I've having this trip next year....

I'm all for a ski fund, funded by mystery shopping and the like :D

  • Well I'm back I can't believe I've been away from here for so long. Not that I've been doing anything exciting just working, OU, family stuff. Believe it or not our finances are actually quite boring now. Everything goes out on the 1st of the month and nothing else much happens...I'm so not complaining. Well whats new in the WHDFW household:
    • DD came back from sking and loved it :T:cool:. She had a fab time, I was so pleased it made it worth the graft to send her.
    • OU course is nearing completion. :T Final TMA submitted tonight and only the exam to revise for now  which is next month.
    • DS's have birthdays very fast approaching. The birthday fund is quite flush however they've no idea what they want. You'd think a 10 year old and a 6 year old would know wouldn't you! DS2's party is organised, sharing with a friend (MSE ways) just the presents to sort
    • Off from work for next week and the week after. No childcare to pay for over the Easter hols :) and plenty of down time.
    • DS2 learnt to ride his bike at the weekend :). I cried !! How soppy am I...my baby
    • Mega ebaying sort out coming once exam is out of the way. I'm not sure I'm goinng to carry on MSing, however much the money has helped! I don't want to do any during the next tax year and I've still got to find the tax for this years earning. Ebay to the rescue me thinks.
    • My car is going for its first MOT on friday. I've never had a car that was too young for an MOT before so I'm going to enjoy the next day or two! I'm not expecting a big bill but hey we've all hoped that before haven't we.
    • Had a £50 cashback claim denied by Quidco from BMI. Very cross and I am doing battle at present but I don't hold out much hope :(
    • OH and I went out last weekend for a charity night. Spent £60 which doesn't sound too much I suppose but its more than we're used to spending however most of it was for a good cause. I got cross with OH who wanted to take the money from the joint account (a sign of his old ways) but thankfully I am on the case and it will be paid for next month.
I am so looking forward to paydays later this week. OH's bonus has been confirmed :rotfl::cool::rotfl: and is slightly more than expected however his company have confirmed no payrise for next year (no surprise there really) so the extra is really his payrise as a lump sum. No matter it should bring our DF totals under the magic number.....we'll see

I've been reading and checking on people's diaries as usual but I've just not felt the need to post.

Be warned, catching H's lose weight theme I'm about to embark on a fitness, health, weight loss regime.......again!
