only a one bed flat to be honest, but it will take a flame thrower to get past the clutter, it's driving me mad0

A flame thrower would be useful in the childrens rooms here LT:rotfl:
I feel like giving myself a large pat on the back - I've been out for a proper run tonight:D. It took some organising with OH having to collect the DS's from activities and bring them home however it was lovely to have some me time and to achieve something.
Now to get on with some study which has been seriously lacking this week..Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Well done on the run, isn't it bonkers how the only way we get to have "me" time is to run away from it all out of the house.

I've not posted for a while since I've been busy with being off during half term. Nothing much has happened on the debt front in the last couple of weeks. Main high/low lights have been:
- OH got his new boys toy. I was left to find the £3k to fund it. He paid for it from the joint account (using OD). We'd got 0% offers on several cards so I thought I'd use the RBS card to do the BT however when I phoned them they wouldn't let me us to to pay another RBS account . So I used one of the BT chq's to pay into one of my other currrent accounts and then when this eventually cleared did a tfr to the joint account. Hassle and frustrating. I'd still rather not have got it but I'm letting it go...
- Very frustratingly OH took DS'2 out in the toy to Halfords to get some bits....£100 later  I was shocked. What got me frustrated is that there was no thought on how this was going to be paid for. Given I'd paid for the toy's insurance so the car fund was empty. That still gets me since there was no understanding of actually we didn't have this money until the next payday.
- A few budgets have been hammered this month. Remarkably the food budget has survived (I think only because its a short month!). My spending diary is a sea of green (green items are those which needs to be paid for!). Budgets which have gone west are the petrol (missed item from Jan and lots of travelling for both of us). Clothes are been costly this month (2x trainers DS1, ski goggles DD, school bags DS's, a few bits for DD). Luckily no school shoes required this month. This essentially means next months budget is spent already.
- I had a great trip to London with the kids. Used my Mr T vouchers to treat them to lunch, I'd already paid for the train tickets so it was a few drinks and bits to be paid for. Well worth doing and definately looking forward to Easters trip. I must get it booked:o
- Managed to get out running a couple of times so I am well pleased with that and passed my OU assignment - 1 more plus exam to go:eek:
OH and I am trying to avoid temptation and purchase a new handbag. I saw it in a museum shop with the kids and given OH's spending on car stuff I was/am tempted.
I'm so glad its payday next week:)Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
