Thanks for the support. It certainly did help IDing what was causing me concern. It hasn't gone away yet but like you say once I get started I'll feel more in control
I didn't have a Guide blanket myself (always wanted one) but I was lucky that I/my Mum saved my badges so DD sewed them all on hers. Likewaise I don't remember by brothers having cub blankets either. I've got to laugh at myself collecting badges for DS2 and he's not even started Beavers yet!Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Done OH's car insurance with £28 cashback from TCB which is lovely:D. Nice thought though that when the cashback comes through we'll be DF:D:D.
The cost of the insurance £355 is coming out of the £200 pot. Therefore we're £155 short already plus my 2 car tyres. Therefore I am going to have to borrow from the DF and pay the money back from December and probably Jan's car pot too. Hopefully this is the end of our car costs for quite a while. I need to check my wonderful spreadsheet to see what the annual car costs are. I'm pretty sure that my old cars heavy costs at the start of the year, both our car tax due dates being changed, OH's insurance moving forward etc have all affected the cash flow into the car out. So what am I saying its been a cash flow problem rather than a under budget problem with our cars!
Why can't I post short and sweet I wonderWorking Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Cashback is tracking which is always reassuring.
I'm studying a boring MA in HR !! I know I need to get a life but I will enjoy it and it will give me the confidence to apply for the next job up in my career. Its amazing how one thing can tip you over the edge sometimes and this did without me actually realising it for a good week or so! All under control now..........
.....off to take DD riding and bring my books with me so I can do some reading!
Nothing much happening on the DFW front. This week I'm focusing on being organised, payday and debt payments (:D) and getting ready for next weekends study start. I've a few bits listed on ebay and no MS in the pipeline. MB has stopped as well since I'm still trying to get my dosh out of one bookie!! I will suceed.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Payday payday payday and this of course means chunks off the debt.
I've made the two debt payments (thats an achievement in its self believe me) and now our totals debt is £4931:D:D:D:D
Blimey its a good feelings going from our debt being the size of my annual income when we started to being under our joint monthly income now. I feel quite elated. It also means that we've got two paydays to go until we are DF. What is o/s at the end of the year has to be less than our emergency savings pot to count as being DF.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
