roll on Friday
Just realised what you've done, you've broken your deficit into 3 x £400 monthly targets - told you I wasn't quite with it - well done, much more manageable. I'm going to set myself a raise £200 extra per month target until xmas - may as well try and raise a little cash whilst making room for the next load of 'stuff' that will be coming our way in December:)
Well ive been to gym, and done another MS this morning, OH working from home today so no running round after him and ive brought him a nice bun home for him (& me!)- courtesy of MSto find he has set up camp in the kitchen!!! Doesn't he know its MY day off and that ive got serious baking plans for this afternoon! He's about to find out haha! cgx
CC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
The only way is bite sized chunks for me. Although I've got a drip feed of income into the debt fund there's no big bucks coming in so I need to have much smaller targets.
Sounds like you've been productive on the fitness front and baking front. Did your OH realise what you'd planned for the afternoon. My baking fest I'm putting off until tomorrow night !!
I'm just working out the balances to ID any over budgets and therefore what my debt payments can be this month....counting down to payday.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
Never got to do any baking but i peeled and froze a zillion apples in readiness for winter pies and crumbles yummy
I'd got to do something to improve my fitness. It was my mum who set me off, she said to do it now while I still can!!! I want to lose weight - don't we all - but more than that I want to feel 'strong' again. I've signed up for 3 months initially and am managing 3/4 sessions a week - I go straight from dropping the kids at school and am back home for 10am - so far so good!
On my debt busting front, we have finally come to the end of a very expensive summer. Its quite sad but I really am sick of spending - I just want to hybernate now and get all our budgets back on track and be able to use our extra cash on the debt instead of just paying off the over spending. ~It was fun while it lasted but I am so ready for some normality.
Like I said, my debt will be going up at the end of this month but then its going down! oh yeh! Good luck with your mini targets cgxCC Debt: Jan 10 £21,660 now £8,170 hurrah!0 -
Sounds like you are a woman on a mission. I'm with you as well with 2stone to lose and the desire to get fit and healthy and like you to be strong. I've committed to run a half marathon with a friend from work next year :eek:. This could be the motivation that I need. Very very scary but I so want to achieve it and one day perhaps do a Hypno and run a full marathon. Bite sized chunks!!
Just worked out what we've overspent on this month - no suprises really - petrol (due to both of us travelling for work and expenses will bring this in next month) and food - definately no excuses but not planning. I can't up the food budget any more I've just got to learn to stay within budget.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -

Good luck to us all then. Mind you I can't do the calorie counting thing - never have been able too for some reason. I'm going for the eating less choccy treats etc and exercising more....time and determination allowing.Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0
