BW Legal NCP Claim Form Received

They are trying to get you to pay a lower amount which means they are less sure about winning in court than they once were - why else would they make an offer? They are trying to make you feel insecure in your defence. If they want this to go to court they have to pay another fee!
ETA:
1. Damn, must learnt to type quicker
2. There you go, two of us said the same thing so it must be right!0 -

Also BWLegal have contact me, regarding my defence. This is their letter:

My mum is frightened for me, because of this letter. I'm not sure how to take it.
Thanks!
Such a poor quality letter from BWLegal, their normal low standard
Seems like they are on the border to discontinue. Their offer is pathetic considering a judge will frown on them for trying to scam that extra £60
WHERE BWLEGAL ARE TALKING UTTER CR*P ...
"With a view of obtaining a county court judgement" ???
They have NOT won so unless they have their own little tardis to go into the future, they are talking rubbish. It's up to a judge as to what happens and not these low life.
However, this is the famous "settle within 14 days" letter
REMEMBER ... BWLegal do not have the power to issue a CCJ
Right now it's 50/50 for court. But relish in the fact that when you win, you can claim some £95 in costs against them.
Also remember that the courts are sick to death with claims made by these dodgy legals, they are a major source of timewasting0 -
Quoting VCS v Crutchley is a million miles away from a Pay & Display car park, it was about stopping on a road for a few seconds on Liverpool Business Park.
Hold your nerve, they might well be on their way to blinking first.
I do wonder why BWL are so stupid to quote Irrelevant cases in their claims ...... it's like somebody is on the funny stuff ?
The time has come to quote cases back to them where they lost
Judge "fed up" with BW Legal

Does anyone have a link to find the VCS v Crutchley case? I can't seem to find it and i'd like to see how far they are in relevance. I'd also like to ask what on earth do I say to the judge if they ask why I didn't pay?0

Is that seriously the case they have referenced? I'm honestly struggling to believe I have the right case up here it's so far away from being anywhere near comparable to my case?? I definitely think someone has been smoking some happy stuff.0 -

If they're also quoting Elliot v Loake, go read that one too for a further guffaw.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So I've been send my witness statement request, been a bit late with sorting it out, work and life got a bit ontop but still got until the 27th. Can anyone tell me a rough idea of what it should include? I can't remember that day.
Thanks!0 -
