Just a but of light relief which may let you calm down.
I have been small claims a few times, only once for parking but for commercial debts owed to my company a few times, never lost any yet!
In terms of late disclosure of evidence. In the parking case I once attended they turned up with it on the day and sent an email that same morning to me with it when I was en route to court, Judge allowed it much to my frustration!
Another occasion in Royal Courts (Strand) where the format was massively different from normal small claims, we swore oaths and took turns being questioned on the stand by each other, which was fun making them melt!
But on that one again, no evidence (defense) until the day, I argued this should mean we only hear my arguments (claimant) as I would not have time to go over their defense WS bundle, Judge stopped me and gave me 10mins to read it why he retired for a tea!
My point is in my short experience the judges often play fast and loose with timelines of PD and evidence bundles.0 -

Only one has tried to with me in the five occasions I have been to court. On that occasion I complained and was awarded £100 compensation. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Working on this now, as I have time.
For the life of me I can't find a copy of the Beavis case sign0 -

Linked from the signage template in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.
Although googling beavis sign also finds it easily.0 -

No, it is only eleven pages.TheClubParkingMan wrote: »Now, schedule 4 is like 15 pages long, do I include it?
Yes, include it.0 -
Assume you will have to walk the Judge through Schedule 4, so you not only need to print it but highlight the relevant paras (BTW para 10 of Sch4 doesn't have any meaning). And know how to point out where they failed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Completely unaware I left the email in draft,. my defence was struck out.
Claimant awarded £177 however, this is less than they claimed for. Could've been worse.0 -
Also, this is the original amount minus the horrid £60 but with their £75 solicitor costs and interest instead. Thank you District Judge Temple0

I feel for you. Clearly you saw the light at having received the SAR reply but for some reason, you were encouraged to continueI am writing my response today, but thea SAR came back today aswell. Their signage is clear and concise, and the PDT shows my reg isn't on there. I must of just forgot to pay. How should I go about this?
Given your acknowledged issues, I am sorry that you were badly advised. Were MSE offer a parking appeals service, a large mis-selling claim would surely follow.
From the car park operators pov, these sorts of cases are an annoyance. Paying in a P&D is a given.
For the enforcement companies, sites like this are a god-send as they encourage people to think they can get away with not paying - and then find out it is not the case.
There will be a suggestion it is a scam, or the judge was incompetent/biased. I would encourage you though to make your own mind up by reading your own thread, working out where you were misdirected.I cannot teach anyone anything, I can only make them think.0
