Thanks K :) Just having a think about my pots and whether I need them all now or not. Probably not in all honesty, but I like them so I might just re-name some :rotfl: xx

I bought a plant pot while I was in town and divided the £10 left over from last week's money between a couple of pots which means I've now got £27 in my purse for this week.

I've had a think about the pots and decided to keep them all but the Treats one will now be treats for other people. Nothing will be put in here automatically so there'll never be loads in but it means I can dip into it and slip DD a few £'s every now and then for a night out or if DS wants a bit of something I can treat him as well.

There's also a new one called Target and I need to save £100 in here by the end of September for something I want to do for somebody in the family.

    So, pots are now:

    Savings: £50
    DS Savings: £50
    Dogs: £50
    Hairdressers: £0
    Christmas: £60
    Christmas Charity: £18
    Caravan: £30
    Treats: £20
    Target: £7/£100 by September

This will all be done out of the usual monthly money I get and the £120 I'd normally pay off the CC will be put in a separate bank account for now. xx

    Afternoon :)

    Day 9/31, Prolific 45p cleared £1.35 pending, Spends 8th-15th May £20.50

Took Mum with me to the garden centre and she treated me to the peace lily and also an air plant as an early birthday pressie. I bought the coffees and a toasted teacake may have fallen into my mouth ;) so spends are now just over £20.

DD came home last night. She's got another sore throat and couldn't get warm. She seems susceptible to sore throats lately. :( She's officially finished lectures now and just has a couple of assignments that have to be in by the end of the month so at least she's not missing anything.

It's cold, wet and miserable here today so I'm going to walk the dogs then settle down with another brew.

Hope you all have a good day. x

When you said peace lily it made me think of Hot Fuzz and his Japanese peace lily :rotfl:. It sounds like a lovely outing :).

So is DD almost finished uni for the year? DS3 has an exam at the end of next week and then he's officially finished for the year, but he may stay on for a bit to hang out with his friends. I do wonder sometimes what he's paying £9200 a year for .

Thanks Beanie, she's had a few sore throats/tonsilitis since she started Uni. She's been to the GP a couple of times when it's been really bad but they won't even think about removing tonsils unless you have a lot of flare ups - can't remember the criteria now but it's high. She's also coughing and sounds quite chesty :( And of course burning the candle at both ends doesn't help ;) xx
