I instantly thought how happy your DS would be this morning when I saw the snow had settled.
Hope you're warming up now after being out!

Blithering cold up here but no snow - the fells are covered but it's not settled on the roads and even Shap and Kirkstone are clear. It looks very lovely but not weather for lingering, dog did a rather quicker than usual walk today but still went for a dip in the freezing river - odd dog.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Thanks Beanie
WB - yes he was happy, probably not so much now as he's still there and hasn't been sent home :rotfl:
K - snow has pretty much gone, but if we get any more it'll definitely stick because it's icy nowIce scares me.
JJ - good grief, your dog is made of hardy stuff :rotfl: Been over Kirkstone pass a few times back in the day - pre-children, which thinking about it is bringing back a few memories and a smile to my face0 -
Morning Tea
Hope you're okay and have a lovely day

Day 31/31, 19 NSD's, Prolific £3.80 cleared, £1.67p pending, Cash £10.38 for 21st-31st January.
Another quiet day. Although after a rather unsettling phone call from DD last night I needed one. It wasn't really DD related but it was 10.30pm and I had to go from 'just about to go to bed' mode to 'red alert', thinking I may have to drive down.
I've been faffing about with bleeping Paypal again today. Honestly, I'm rubbish at this sort of stuff. Thought I'd done it wrong.... again but thankfully not so. Just as well, as I want to use it next week and would like the recipient to get the money on the day not 2 weeks later
Also been updating my pots in anticipation of tomorrows spends coming in. They're looking quite good and I'm keen to get on and bump them up a bit more.
Prolific have obviously heard me moaning about them because I had a £1 survey today. At last :j
Hope everybody has had a good day. x0 -
Hi Tea, popped in again although I do read your posts, very cold down here, I hate it, I never moan about the heat in the summer but dread the cold Im sitting with the central heathing on two jumpers and I'm still cold. My dad used to say I've got no blood. My GS in sitting in his room (Xbox obviously) in shorts no t shirt window open and no heating - the boy is mad.
Hope your daughter is OK they are such a worry arn't they.0 -
Hi Anita, I'm always cold, think it's the tablets, so I can empathise. But unlike you I can't stand the summer heat either, so I'm constantly moaning about being cold and hot
Laughing at the image of your GS. DS is just the same. Mind you when I walk in his room it's like a greenhouse. Not surprised with all the equipment he's got switched on in there. It's the warmest room in the house and it doesn't even have a radiator :rotfl:
Oh yes, they are a worry and so are their friends at times, but touch wood things seem OK today. xx0
