Aww I wish I could knit, I really can't do it, just crochet and cross stitch for me :)

I will have to see if I can post a pic of it sometime :rotfl:xx

I'd actually love that K. One of my ways of relaxing is looking at photos of crocheted blankets and choosing which one I'm going to make. I know you'll get that, but any non-crochet readers are probably thinking we've got a right weirdo here :rotfl:

Hope you've having a nice day. We have snow :) xx

Oh I hope you can post pictures. I don't know how to do it. I love crochet blankets etc.

Hope you've had a good day Tea

Thanks Wannabe. There are some gorgeous crocheted blankets out there, proper eye candy stuff :rotfl:

So an end of day round up.

    Day 29/31, 19 NSD's, Prolific £3.80 cleared, 67p pending, Cash £18.26 for 21st-31st January.

Ordered my shopping last night and after comparing prices in the 2 stores I go to, I made a saving of just over £3. I don't actually do anything with this money, it just gets eaten up in the joint account, but I'm thinking as it's me that puts the effort into doing this I might siphon it off into a savings account. It's easy enough to do as the bank account has several 'mini savings pots' linked to it, so I just need to transfer it over.

I also sold a book on EB*y today for £8 so I'm really pleased with that. Nothing else I'm selling has gone yet but it's aimed at the collector so a very small market. I'm not allocating the £8 to any pots, it's going to get spent on a birthday gift which means I'm not up but I'm not down either :T

Sat here waiting for the voting in Parliament.....again. As my dear old Nan would say, they all need their heads banging together.

Hope you've all had a good day and the snow isn't causing you any problems. Stay warm and cosy. x

Oh Wow, K, that is absolutely gorgeous. What yarn have you used? Variegated yarn fascinates me. How do they get it to change colour in blocks. It's one of life's mysteries :rotfl:

K, It is indeed magic :D

    Day 30/31, 18 NSD's, Prolific £3.80 cleared, 67p pending, Cash £10.38 for 21st-31st January.

Woke up to snow but not enough to stop DS getting to school or us going to Bury. I spent £7.88 which means there's £10.38 left. Bargain of the day was a box of Christmas Crackers for £1.50. Can't see me spending anything tomorrow, so I'll have something to carry over to next month which is good. And that's about it for today.

Hope you're all keeping warm and safe if you have to go out and about x
