Your monthly round up is looking good and those pots looking healthy!
I laughed when i saw your husband had locked you in and that's why you had a NSD. Made me wonder if your husband locked you in SO you would have a NSD. hahaSealed Pot Challenge 075
Pay off by Xmas 2019 #02 - target £10,0000 -
:rotfl: maybe I should delete it HG in case any husbands read this and think it's a good idea. :rotfl:
I am quietly chuffed with my pots and extra CC payment. I don't have to manage a lot of money but being in control of what I do have feels good. x0 -
You're doing really well Tea

Thank you WB and Beanie. Funny you should ask about the CC Beanie. I got my statement today and I've actually paid £60 extra off, but my budget balances
I've no idea why but hey, I'm not asking any questions. :rotfl: Hubby has a (very good) habit of telling me to keep the change or handing me a £5 or £10 so I've obviously not accounted for it.
The CC now stands at £1,782. Minimum payment is £52 so I'm paying well over that amount. The bleeping interest is just over £30.
Don't know if you remember me saying I could borrow it off ourselves but hubby wasn't keen on that as we had an idea we would need to get our hands on some money quickly. Well, that quick money was the funeral costs so if I add my CC on to that, it would mean £5k cash in total gone.
So, I think for now I'll just keep plugging away at it for a while longer. Which is fine. It's not a hardship as such, it would just be nice to have the money in my purse. But like everybody else with a CC I've had the stuff in the past and it needs to be paid for  xx0 -
Any chance you could get a 0% credit card? Or a money tranfer at 0% where you only pay the transfer fee upfront? xxI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Ouch the interest
I second Beanie no chance of a transfer to somewhere cheaper?

No, I can't get another CC as I don't have any income. I'm hoping in a few months it'll be down to £1k and the joint account will have built up again so I'll be able to 'borrow' it.
Years ago we were in a situation where we really struggled so rightly or wrongly our mentality is we'd rather have some cash we can get our hands on even if it means paying interest on a CC for the time being. If we hadn't paid out for the funeral it would have been a bit different. But it is what it is. xx0 -
I love crocheting Kindofagilr. I only started about 6 years ago, I used to knit before then, but once I started I was hooked - pardon the pun :rotfl: It's because everything grows so quickly, I'm fairly patient but there are times when I crave instant gratification so it's perfect for me.
The 12 point blanket sounds lovely. Think the nearest I'll have come to that is a small starx
Aww I wish I could knit, I really can't do it, just crochet and cross stitch for me
I will have to see if I can post a pic of it sometime :rotfl:xxDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)
