You're doing so well with your pots :)

Did the crazy traffic get you up there like it did here? It was crazy today!

  • Ahhhh it's the little things that's show you care....fruit and nut is my hubby's favourite!

My RH going do slowly with only one big shopping trip every 8/10 days. I've got 1053 which is £3, but better than nothing. Currently half way through level 7, but need kids to start wombling more! I'm going to keep scanning as can see the rewards going up slowly.

Have a good day tea x

Didn't notice any extra traffic Wannabe but to be honest I don't go on any main roads to town. The journey time from home to shopping centre is taken up with getting off our estate and crawling over all the bleeping road humps. There's 14 to bounce over before I get to a proper road!

Haha, it is the little things isn't it CG plus I knew he'd share it so there was an ulterior motive :rotfl: Unless you're a spendaholic RH is definitely not going to make anybody rich but as you say, for the sake of taking a photograph it's worth doing.

Back later to do my daily notes but for now I'm going to have a bit of breakfast then I'm off to Bury. Not been for ages so looking forward to having a mooch around.

Have a great day everybody. x

I did wonder if you where further out than the traffic.

I hope you have a lovely morning. Even if it's very wet!

  • Tea you're doing so well with the pots and with withdrawing money out for the week. I'm wondering if I should adopt that approach next month. Sorry if you've already answered this and I've missed it, but do you withdraw the physical cash for your week or just set aside the amount in another account which is the only account you can touch during that week?

Hello IS :) I've found having a weekly budget absolutely brilliant in helping me keep track of my money. It's not too much to handle at once and a week of spending is much easier to keep track of - not that there haven't been a few miscalculations

Ages ago when I tried to keep track of my cash I'd take £120 out for the month. But it had gone in a few days and I didn't know where  Now I make a point of taking £30 out every week.

The bank accounts in this house are busy with general day to day stuff and although I've got my own account, it gets used as a holding bay sometimes. If I left my money in I'd get really mixed up. Plus I like having the cash in my purse. Not because I like spending it, but because it's really nice to have a count up at the end of the week and then physically go and add money to my pots.

I really recommend you do it if you can. x

Thanks Tea. I'm awful with cash, I just fritter it away. I'm thinking of using my Monzo card which isn't currently being used right now for a weekly spend account. I'll just transfer £100 or whatever at the start of the week and only through that account.

    Day 16/31, 9 NSD's, Prolific £2.80 cleared, £0 pending, Cash £25.50 for 14-20th January.

Bit of a spendy day today. I found the top I wanted in Bury and picked up some paper so total spend was £11 which means I've got £25.50 left over. I can't see me spending any money tomorrow or Friday as I've no plans to leave the house. :D Don't think weekend will be costly either but not thinking too far ahead for now.

Surveys are slow at the moment, I wish Prolific would put some up. Not just for the money. I actually enjoy doing them, saddo that I am :rotfl:

Hubby spent a bit today so I've uploaded some more receipts to RH.

Now sat waiting for the result of yet another vote in Parliament.

Hope everybody has had a good day. x
