Thanks Beanie and WB, that's my reading sorted for the day. Mind you, no wonder I couldn't find it. You're in a different league if you're on Mortgage Free - I'm still trying to get a handle on my £30 a week spends :rotfl:
WB - I 'stalked' you for a long time as well and then when I did set up on here I dithered about leaving a message on your diary because it felt like I'd be intruding on a good group of friends you'd already made. Anyway, I'm glad I did. It's great to 'talk' to you properly. And you never say the wrong thing or look stupid. It's such a shame that you seem to struggle with self worth so much when from the outside looking in you have lots of excellent qualities. To quote from 'The Help' You is kind, You is smart, You is important. Just remember that. x

Day 17/31, 9 NSD's, Prolific £2.80 cleared, £0 pending, Cash £25.50 for 14-20th January
Hubby asked a question about the joint account this morning which set the ball rolling for us looking into things and discussing future plans. 2 hours later we'd finally covered everything. All done on a healthy fruit tea as well with not a drop of caffeine in sight. :rotfl: Actually, I enjoyed doing it. We both know where we're up to now. Yes, we knew things were covered but to actually know exact figures etc. feels much better.
Nothing much planned today. Most of the morning has gone already on the above exercise and DS gets in from school at 3pm so it already feels like the day is over. Dramatic I know! It's looking like it's going to be a NSD so I'll finally hit those double figures.
Have a great day0 -
Great news tea, sounds like hubby on board which is half the battle! I'm hooked on fruit tea and feel better for it I just need to cut the sugar. I'm sneaking another nsd today...polish my halo
Wannabe, having read your diary and a lot of your comments I do t think you've anything to worry about. There is no right or wrong. You're an amazing mum and lovely person! You need to stop being hard on yourself. Listen to tea, she's right 'you is smart!' XFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -
He's on board CG but we're very different in outlook. I like to dig a bit deeper about things that are coming up and how we're planning to cover them financially. He's more along the lines of it'll be fine, we'll deal with that when it happens. He's right in a way, we are OK but I like my stall set out properly and I like to know what I'm dealing with. I really don't like financial 'surprises'. Anyway, he was in the mood for thinking ahead this morning so I made the most of it and we've gone through what we know this year is going to cost us. :rotfl: I feel tons better for doing it.
WB is smart isn't she - she just doesn't seem to realise she isMight have to remind her every now and then
Hope you're listening to this Wannabe. x

Hey tea! Thought I would pop over as you’re always so positive on others diaries. Going to sit and read from the beginning with a nice cuppa x0

Hi Missy - what a lovely thing to say, thank you. Life threw me a curve ball in 2013 so I'm just glad to be here. I don't want to waste any time on anything other than trying to be positive and seeing the good in people and life in general. Oh and also getting rid of my CC and knowing where my money goes :rotfl: I will pop over to visit you later on. x
Beanie - I've found your diary :T I've read the beginning and the end and will work my way through the middle over the next few days. It's a shame about the charity closing down. I hope the people that used it will be able to access help from elsewhere and that the paid staff find employment. x0 -
Hope you've had a good day
