I only ask as we have just started watching Outlander on Amazon and we are slightly addicted to the programme over Christmas, as much as I hate Amazon the TV offers a welcome escape from reality for a couple of hours in the evening!

Am also watching Outlander, having started it only about 2 weeks ago - it is very addictive.  The scenery is stunning.

@VJsmum We started it just over a week ago and are now half way though season 3, it is total escapism, very beautiful scenery and a certain leading cast member isn't to bad either  .

Oooooh ty GS, seems to be filmed all over the place. I havent seen it, dont watch much telly. I loved Shetland though with Jimmy Perez

Shetland was fantastic!  Outlander was too, but life was a little bit disjointed for me when it was first on, and I never caught up.

Just remember the last two episodes of season one of Outlander are quite graphic.  
Season two's costumes are divine.

I loved Shetland, are they doing a new series?

Yes, DH and I watched it from behind pillows and went to bed slightly shell shocked, very good acting though although if we ever watch season 1 again we will be skipping those episodes.

I’m glad you mentioned that. I was really enjoying it up to that point. Great storyline, Beautifully filmed and with a lovely sound track, started off really well then went weird!
