It seemed to take immense concentration to avoid hitting anything. (Glasses prescription is up to date.)Anyone else find this?I wanna be in the room where it happens16

Morning all! Has anyone else noticed a lack of multivitamin tubs in the supermarkets recently? The cheaper, own brand ones seem to have disappeared and are not being restocked by the looks of things.17

That’s concerning C_J, praps a combination of people stocking up and covid issues? Various reports have suggested lack of warehouse capacity due to PPE consignments, and social distancing slowing both ports and production.
Btw if anyone’s thinking about buying warm things like thermals, recommend doing so as soon as you can. Literally half my M&S basket sold out as I was shopping yesterday and Joules/Fatface etc only had small sizes left in the texting gloves requested by a teacher friend. But maybe not surprising what with outdoor exercise becoming so important, along with more WFH and being indoors online on dark evenings. Ho ho hum

About the cats - i would obviously clean the surface thoroughly after feeding them!
About night driving being more difficult as we get older - apparently it's because the lenses inside our eyes become less transparent.14 -

Trending on Amazon at the moment are chess sets, on YouTube it’s learn to play chess tutorials and the Original book has made it onto the NY best sellers list 37 years after it was published 😃13

The lads have taken to resupplying on beans & cooking oil straight from my office. Just as well I was in it, dispute being on a call at the time, and updated the shopping list. They'll make a Costco run essential (not just a nice thing) soon...12

Well its happened again here! Youngest son had the "letter of doom" from school saying he had been a close contact of a confirmed case and had to self isolate. Older son, in the year above, has stayed home as at least 4 0f the 5 years are out isolating from his school. His logic is that his year ,11, will follow suit in the next few days. If they do he will have to isolate until Xmas eve!! He has decided he is with his brother and will stay home until the 18th which conveniently is the day they break up! HELP!! Four week Christmas holidays with the teenagers at home!!
The cases are rising rapidly here in Wales and that's with our recent lockdown. Looks like post Xmas total lock down for us is on the cards. Along with the Brexit worries its going to be interesting times we are living in !!
I for one am planning on growing my salad, toms, cucumbers, beans, peas, garlic onions etc and doing without items that have huge price hikes or are difficult to get. I never eat fresh green beans or strawberries in winter that have been flown in from Africa or somewhere warm. I try to eat seasonally and preserve/freeze things for winter. I haven't seen the news today, at one point the BBC were trying to bring a statement from Brussels but they had problems with their sound and communication, presenter quipped that imagine if the talks had gone like this, was v funny !
