Yeast - that was the other thing I ordered. I have some though from local shop BBE end Dec next year.
Don't need onions as we grow all our own (string them up and they keep most of the year). Have veg growing in garden which will be used/frozen as needed. Currently trying to keep up with runner beans (got the right name) which are going silly. I have lentils but rarely use them. I got them substituted when I ordered dried peas. They may come in handy for chucking in stuff for vegan mother to add a bit of protein, and I seem to have collected rather a lot of dried fruit. No idea quite how I accumulated so much. Will come in.15 -
I do a lot of lentil soup. Cranberries and fruit go into flapjacks. Only the two of us here, and one is very picky.

I'm burbling a bit today, but just thought I'd mention I've checked all footwear for all seasons for us and replaced where they may conk out in the next few months or so. (This is in case I can't afford to do so when needed).14

Just off the top of my head to add to your list Elaine.I have quite a stock of soap, shampoo, toothpaste/brushes but having two smelly teenage boys it doesn't seem to go down v fast!
Pet food usually comes from our farm supplies store as we buy all the farm animal feed there on account, we can get bulk orders if needed. My old cat is min 17.5 years although no one knows for sure as he was a rescue.
My first aid kit is v well stocked and I have still got loads of otc meds as I have been building it up for years and using in date order. Hell ! have even got potassium iodide tablets and two huge bottles of isopropyl alcohol that I bought way before any pandemic reared its head.
It is good to see what people are stocking up on, I too need to buy a big bag of porridge oats as the boys seem to love it in the winter with home made jam stirred in ().
I was wondering what items people think will be in short supply/go missing if we get a second wave/Brexit problem? I know loo roll, flour, yeast, paracetamol were like hens teeth and apparently tin foil will be low supply as we will all need it to line our hats.
One thing which went missing, which I am not sure was linked to the pandemic, was HRT patches or tablets!! Now this could be a very serious problem for many men as well as women!!! I for one have only just managed to secure a three month supply of my usual patches. Prior to this I was on a different patch/pill combo which didn't really suit me and my poor OH has suffered along with me!

I am a little sad today, 2 weeks ago my Partner was told he was furloughed till October, so has been here helping me paint, clear the garden and shed and get things sorted for winter.. he had a call today they want him back in on Thursday,
I know its good that he has a job etc, it's just we had got our heads around him being off till the end of October.
today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.
Living on my memories, making new ones.

Elaine I was looking up manufacturing areas, and most laundry stuff is made in Europe, so I expect it to go up quite a bit price wise in the new year, same with a lot of the personal products.£71.93/ £180.0015

Electronics mainly from China, Korea and the far east, quite a lot of clothing is made in the east too, out of season foods, some local and also foreign food shortages because of the shortage of pickers, flour is a possibility if we need to import it, some pharmaceuticals, new season wine like Beaujolais might not get here, fresh fish if there are turf wars after Brexit and the continental fishing boats start being aggressive, steel although we should have enough here as stocks, Continental cheeses and meats after Brexit, olives and olive oil from Italy gosh the list goes on but that's all I can get from first thoughts.12

Most of our current trade is based on EU trade deals, so anything that relies on imports is likely to change.13

Current prepping - return small pile of parcels of clothing and toys that I have bought the children in the last couple of weeks, I cant justify the costs. The thing I am missing most is carboot sales, I use to get all of the childrens clothes, books and toys for pennies, I am seriously thinking about going to a few on my own whilst in the eye and getting next size up for the kids to put away. Slowly refilling the larder, I think olive oil may be an issue with the olive tree virus, the big nurseries have stopped importing olive trees. A*da still have a limit on number of tinned tomatoes you can buy yet you are free to buy as many cartons of passata as you wish and at 33p I've been stocking up on a few each week. I'm going to do a check on first aid kit and replenish as needed, I fell down the outdoor steps with baby we are both covered in bruises and scratches and it scared me so much. We also need a new fridge, it keeps freezing everything in it, for the last couple of months we have been turning it off at lunch time, turning it on early evening, switching off at night, then switching it back on, DH doesn't think he can replace the thermostat.16
