A little  8am......2pm tomorrow   a paid day off monday....so not back in till thursday.....my colleagues daughter has come down with symptoms...not just   a colleague but was at school together  almost 40 years ago....isolating pending test.... hope they are ok......stay safe

Morrissons delivered to us yesterday and brought us nearly everything we'd ordered so all to the good.  The delivery driver was very apologetic because he had NO CARRIER BAGS and was pleased we put out our collapsible plastic crates as he'd been having to just unload his items from the van onto the front doorsteps without containers all morning.  Don't know if this is just the depot he comes from or if there is a shortage of bags everywhere.  Might be worth finding some carrier bags if you have them and putting them close to the front door to use if it happens on your delivery NEEDMONEY.

Thank you Mrs L, my delivery came this morning some things missing but I'm not complaining. Plenty of bags here though because one carrier had one item in it when there was room for it in one of the other bags.

Poor driver that must be annoying for him they're under pressure time wise normally.

My delevery slot was 8am -9am and he was her 8.30am so happy with that.

My delivery from Iceland was left in flimsy carrier bags and not the normal thick ones. The driver said they are in short supply.

I wonder if there is a shortage of carrier bags as people are throwing them away treating them as potentially contaminated.

We've kept ours and they live in the storage box of the outdoor arbour seat, we've offered them back to the drivers but they can't take them because of possible contamination!

I empty my bags in the hall into the last lot of bags, wiping as I go with anti bac (bathroom cleaner; it's all I've managed to get so far) and then the new bags go into quarantine till next time. 
All my bags normally get put to a variety of uses; there's a kind of downward chain which ends with them being rubbish bags. 

However they are building up a bit at the moment!

So far I haven't had to provide any bags for things to be put in outside the door but I ask each time they deliver and I expect that time will come.

Oh, I am waiting for my Iceland delivery  ( from now till 2pm) so will put the thicker bags I have from previously deliveries by the door as its mainly cans and meat, sadly no fish available so have to source that elsewhere, so heavy so can pop thinner bags if that is what they arrive in, into the thicker ones - thanks for the heads up.

Update - my shopping arrived in a mixture of thick and thin carrier bags - heavier items ( cans etc) in heavier ones and things like eggs in thinner ones.  So looks as if there is becoming a shortage all over for Iceland anyway of the thicker bags.

My family are getting a bit wild-eyed at the Sheer Number of bags we have - I can hardly wait to see their faces when an orderly row containing seed spuds are lined up along the garden. They still want me to get rid of All my bags for life - what, bin my affordable art collection?! [Shan't. Will donate duplicates to foodbank, though.]
