srn said:Absolutley right regarding the home birth (tried to quote but I seemed to end with loads of them), my lovely daughter-in-law gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at home in the living room on Wednesday. They were amazed at the speed and efficiency at which everything was cleared up and they said it ended up tidier than before.Slightly bitter11

Plain flour, water and a tiny bit of cooking oil of some kind with a seasoning of salt kneaded together until a pliable dough, rest in the fridge for half an hour, cut into four pieces and roll out to about 1/2 centimetre thick and cook in a heated oiled frying pan until brown patches appear on one side, turn over and cook for another couple of minutes on the other side until brown patches form. Like tortillas and so easy.15

All done & dusted within the hour, we're now back to being a super solid team, more so than ever before - even the cat is pitching in My advice, if I may: he's only trying to provide but needs to understand the risk. Sit down this weekend and talk about your fears. Figure out together how to address those health & monetary worries. Give each other space to think, and ration talk of apocalypse to when it's most convenient for both of you with clear heads. Research what you need to on the internet together. Good luck

I have had a positive discovery from the current situation! I had lurking under the sink a packet of 4 bars of household soap i had bought years ago in Greece. As i don't have much spray cleaner left i soaped up a crochet dishcloth with a bar and used it to clean the sink and the tiles by the bin. Omg it is so much better than the old spray or cream scourer i usually use! I am a complete convert. I am also going to crochet myself some more cloths as they are just as good as kitchen towel for mopping up spills.16

What yarn are you using to crochet the cloths?

Count your fingers and toes when sorting the exchange rate, if your cat is like mine she has expensive tastes.
