Can I ask what you are all doing to sanitize shopping my daughter will drop off shopping soon as I am in isolation because of over 70. Are you wiping goods with soapy water or bleach solution?
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Bleach solution of 6ml bleach made up to 300ml with water. I have mine in a spray bottle and although we haven't had any shopping delivered we do get bottle milk from the milkman and I wear plastic gloves to bring it in, stand it on a piece of kitchen towel spray liberally all over the top and sides then use another piece of kitchen towel to lift the bottles up and spray the underneath. I leave the bottes to dry and then store in the fridge isolated from all else in there o their own shelf for 24 hours. I shall do the same (but not the fridge) if we get any food products in tins, hard cardboard, plastic, bottles or soft plastic outers spray then with the bleach solution and then using gloves stand them on newspaper in the store room on the floor and leave them for 24 hours to dry and for the virus to become impotent.11

I've been looking at a kelly kettle for the last few years, I do have a camping stove but obviously that runs on canisters and it a severe SHTF situation come about they will be non existant/run out etc, can I ask the people in the know, is it worth the investment?

I've always washed my milk bottles.
... I don't know whether it occurs to anyone, but AFAIK there are no hand washing facilities in a milkfloat. (I'm sure the guy has to take a whizz in a bush from time to time.)

The Ocado website has actually shut down for several days as they are so over-subscribed. They're trying to increase capacity, I think. We were worried about this scenario with Brexit, I never dreamed it would happen like this, with a pandemic. So glad of my Brexit stash. Hope everyone's keeping safe and warm.

Kelly kettles run on twigs, dried leaves, bits of paper, old dead wood anything you can find that is dry and will burn. They come in a couple of sizes, we have one of the larger ones that's about 1.5 litres. They are light to carry, easy to light and can be run on bits of twig you can find anywhere there are trees. Ours boils the water in about 5 minutes, fabulous things we use it in the garden in the summer and it comes on picnics so even not in extremesis it's a useful bit of kit.11

DH and I went to pick up DS from Uni in Colchester and I have to say the difference between there and London was gobsmacking. Everyone, especially the oldies, was out shopping like nothing was wrong. The shops had stuff we can’t find in London - nappies, loo roll, chicken, cotton wool, wet wipes, paracetamol, flour etc. I grabbed some loo roll and flour as i have been to the supermarket in London 4 times in the last 10 days and not found any. It was really bizarre!
DD finished her shift an hour early last night as there was nothing to mark down. They had sold out entirely of meat and fish (her department). I popped in to her branch earlier for some veg and there was nothing besides 4 bags of potatoes and 2 butternut squashes, and this is a big branch not a little one!9
