I've just read the most adult post I've seen in ages that was forwarded by someone on our local Facebook by a doctor called Abdu Sharkawy regarding the coronavirus. It's worth the reading if you can locate it but I don't know the source. It ends with the words … Facts not fear. Clean Hands. Open hearts. Thank heavens there is at least one grown up on the planet.11

As per the norm this week there still wasn't any hand gel and loo roll was running very low, luckily I don't need either 😊

Himself, not an enthusiast of "buying more than you need" (and thus dubious of my storecupboard) has just this week phoned me at work demanding where to find the paracetamol and today telling me to stock up on mince "and a big bag of oats". Some of this is just advanced delegation, some of it (I suspect) is a creeping sense that I might have a point...
As for the loo roll, I resupplied house stocks before the rest of the universe decided to post panicky photos.9 -
Be aware preppers, that any British tourists returning now from the hot zone in northern Italy can walk through the airports here without any tests, or details taken, or hindrance whatsoever. The govt seem to be absolutely clueless at trying to control this thing.12

Well, that's odd; for a few moments the forum didn't "recognise" me and wouldn't let me log in!
MingVase/Mar, I'm not sure they are really trying to control this thing; I suspect they know that at the end of the day it can't be controlled, just delayed. They're trying to look as if they're being proactive/doing something.Angie - GC Sept 25: £87.45/£450: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 28/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)9
