I'd opt for some things to 'do' as much as to entertain, craft projects or sewing/knitting/patchwork etc. to pick up and put down as mood dictated and plenty of books to read both new and old favourites and actual books at that in case the power is ever 'iffy' and kindles etc. can't be recharged and perhaps find a book of card games that can be played by various numbers of people as a pack of cards is cheap to buy and small enough to pop in a pocket if you need to evacuate from home for any reason.7

I wouldn't mind being holed up at home so much, in quarantine, but I would mind being shunted off to a quarantine facility or hospital, as with my dietary requirement and issues it would do me far more harm than good. That scares me.

Oh no, not risk! Actually this family can argue over any game. Even snap had to be adapted to avoid fisticuffs.
I am assuming though that if any quarantine was necessary it will be just me and DH here and we can find plenty to entertain us. No sniggering at the back. I'm thinking crafting and painting, and not the diy kind.Spend less now, work less later.11 -

I suspect in times of pandemic the choice over staying at home or being quarantined wouldn't be an option, the patient would be put where the meds needed them to be regardless. I suspect that the priority would be keeping as many of the nation as possible healthy and the needs and preferences of the individual would not be a factor in that.10
