Yes, and two suspected cases in York also. A Chinese couple staying in a hotel up there, were taken away in an ambulance with people in hazmat suits yesterday.
It was only a matter of time, sadly.February wins: Theatre tickets1 -
I've been staying with my GP daughter and we talked the coronavirus through and her understanding is that most people who catch it will get the same symptoms as the common cold (which is also a coronavirus) and it will cause them relatively little distress. It won't be apparent that it is coronavirus from Wuhan unless there are complications and that's where the problem lies because the NHS is currently stretched tighter than it needs to be to function properly and extra burden will cause untold stress on the system. I think the most pressing need is to identify and isolate anyone who is thought to have the slightest chance of having the Wuhan virus so as to limit the spread as much as is humanly possible to keep numbers down and keep the NHS afloat.1

Well said! As a former staff nurse in an infectious diseases hospital, I'd say washing your hands frequently - and well - is your best defence. Use soap and rub it in all over, while singing Happy Birthday to yourself, twice through at the regular speed. Don't neglect your nails or the backs of your hands. (Any soap will do.) Wash your hands before touching your face, so that you don't transfer virus particles from fomites (objects), to your eyes/nose/mouth.

Thank you, PipneyJane! I have this morning washed my hands together with my dds (8 and 11), and we sang the song together, and I have instructed them to do this at school (next to Zaventem Airport, Belgium) before lunch.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.591 -
