Thank you BucksLady, you are very sweet. TBH, I was worried when I finished posting the post you refer to about the possibility of the small group of posters goading me again, but your and another post has put a smile on my face.

The internet can be a lovely place and this is one good example.

    Please enjoy your weekend:)

Some have insinuated that I initiated this thread just to "feel better." I'll let all of those that posted genuine comments of their heartfelt regrets decide.

I fit the bill on both of those counts. But then I deleted my post because I did get concerned as all the sympathy seemed to me [rightly or wrongly] to be akin to people who visit funerals of people they don't know.

    :(

There was absolutely no need whatsoever for your very nasty follow up post.
For the record, I am not like what you have described and nor are those that have posted from their hearts.
Most people, sadly have more than enough funerals to go to so what you said makes it very nasty.

    No need for it whatsoever.:(
    PS.

You may perceive what I said as nasty. I perceive what you are doing in the same way. One, or both of us, are wrong.

I don't [and didn't ] include any who have 'posted from their hearts' to be that way inclined, I don't know why you'd include them.

  • I tend not to have 'regrets' everything I have done (for the right and wrong reasons) got me to the here and now in my life where I am very happy to be.

I thought hard about what you said but could never put myself in your position. I consider you
to be a lucky man in that sense and may it continue.
