Hi everyone.
Half day for me today but traffic was bad on way home so that ate into my time. Have had lunch and am about to make curry for tea, walk the dog and dig out some Christmas decorations before the school run. After tea I will go for a run.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

NSD today - 2/15.
Did not have the energy to go out for a walk, bad night's sleep.
Doing ok with not spending too much time of computer and not playing computer games. Have lit candle. Will be reading in a little while.
Grateful for:
Pj's.
Lovely and soft dressing grown.
Having food in.
Having somewhere to live.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Today I'm grateful for:
getting back to work
having other adults to speak to
an understanding Head teacher
Christmas stuff
I'm absolutely exhausted - not completely better so a full day at work has wiped me out a little bit. Plus I had an unpleasant return to work meeting - I dislike the woman that does them so that put me on the back foot fom the beginning.
However, it was nice to be back and nice to catch up with people at work as well. Plus I have a free on a Tuesday so I managed to catch up with a bit of work as well.
And I bagged a nsd.
And I finally braved the scales after 3 weeks to survey the damage - and am 3.5lbs down. So lots to be thankful for
13 more school get ups.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Organise your outgoings. Winter tyres on both cars sorted , so that the big expenditure done.
Count up to 15. Fifteen No Spend Days. Sorry going to rebel against this one going for 10NSD Still on 2/10 as went food and bra shopping
Treat yourself well. yoga done
One thousand days. More on this later as it’s a meaty one. Or a vegan sausage-y one. But definitely gluten and dairy free.
Refrain from browsing your phone when nothing else is going on for the duration of the challenge. |This will be hard but will do it as I feel i'm been assimilated by my phone. Regular feature of my nightmares
Here’s a space to make up your own rule for the month. 2/7 days of going cheese free
Outings. Not going to the badger ball as too far to travel next weekend.
Omm. make time for 15 minutes of yoga a day 4/31 Write down 4 gratitudes each day. 1) Winter tyres 2) gluten free flapjack 3)hugs 4)been fitted for new bras.
No takeaways, canteen meals (unless free), coffee shop or corner shop visits. none today
Candles - will do
Switch off your tech an hour before going to bed - ok
Read fiction before bed. love a bit of escapism
Exercise. Dog walk and yoga everyday
Exterminate (see, we can learn from the DALEKS…) one bad habit from your life for the first 10 days. I will not watch bad tv in the afternoons that suck me in and I get nothing done.
Remember that you are blessed. Count your blessings daily. Be grateful for what you have. And remember those that have less – donate money, food, non-perishables, blankets to a charity that you want to support. Relish life, one day at a time. Have a bag of clothes to to c/s, foodbank advent calender done today

Debt-free/ MF/ Savings target date savings 08/2020. mtge 09/27 Xmas & bdays spending on CCs - to be repaid no later than Feb payday £20 transferred to holiday fund to cover some Tesc0 vouchers used
Organise your outgoings. Lots of spending this month, not all Xmas related - will keep track - bought some more Xmas presents today (finished 5 people off, so was worth it!) and a small bit of food (more YS) and fuel
Count up to 15 NSDswill monitor0. Was originally intending a SFD but spent the first part of the morning sorting/ wrapping presents and had a flash of inspiration. Quick trip out and a local small independent retailer supported :j
Treat yourself well. Yep
One thousand days.
Refrain from browsing your phone when nothing else is going on Mindfulness! Has to be 80+% success
What kind of month do you want for yourself? December - a month of 8 days at work, 1 trip to Cardiff to see DD on her 21st, 1 trip to Swansea and Cardiff to collect DD & DS1 for Xmas (OH will do this), 1 meet up with relatives at my house (eek!), 1 Xmas show to see (DS3), 1 meal out for DD's 21st when she and DS1 are back home, 1 Xmas/ bday meal out combined celebration and paid for by OH's business, lots of cooking, lots of family fun and games and a decent amount of sleep! And more fun. No stressing last minute. Time to enjoy it all. Still rather too much going on. Still Need to make some lists! Plans changed for today though
Holly and other decorationsI may change this as we go through the month. My mum brought down some decs today. Thankfully my boys totally rejected the Elf on the SHelf she brought!!:j They did fancy some of the other decs, though.... sigh...
Outings. Drop one. I dropped a work one. Dropped PTA Xmas fair tonight - DS3 didn't want to go and my sister and nephew unexpectedly visited.
Slow living this month. Will take time for R&R and set timescales to get things done in reasonable timeNeed lists!!
Omm. Take care of your mental health. Do something every day this month that makes you feel good: Write down 4 gratitudes each day.okThankful for watching 2 beautiful t1ts flying around the garden and eating berries - and a gorgeous robin sat in the Virginia Creeper, lots of laughs with DS3 on the way to school, an unexpected visit from my sis + lovely nephew, getting 5 presents finished today, my mum doing a load of washing for me
No entry to any sales. Likewise, no takeaways etc. Will likely pick up more cards in sales . No takeaways etc today - I resisted the gorgeous smells coming from the local deli's hot counter!
Iam and always will be the optimist. I generally am
Candles - Switch to candles and firelight after dark And switch off your tech an hour before going to bed please. Currently have low lights on - will aim to stop tech at 9pm again
Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80.
Chase down more awe and joy. Go after it with a purpose. DD tracks FC on Xmas Eve with DS3 and we have already started Xmas light spotting when out and about
Read fiction before bed. . Did this last night and will do it again tonight
Exercise. Get 10,000 steps a day Move a little more. Embrace the outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. target of average 10k steps each day + a squats challenge + tracking food
What’s the point of being grown up if you can’t be childish sometimes.Yes! DS3 and I walking along to school blowing 'hot air' at each other in the frosty morning - lots of giggling from both of us
Don’t give up. Not ever. Not for one single day. Be safe if you can be. But always be amazing.” Pop on here every day .Here
Refuse to get sucked into guilt spending. None today. Identified I'd overspent on one person so removed a small item and redirected it
Identify activities and people who drain you. Give yourself permission to take a break from them for 21 daysI've been gradually doing this over the past few years....
Visit your local area. Find new footpaths, see where a road or path takes you. Explore new horizons. Would like the weather to be drier to do this....
Exterminate one bad habit from your life for the first 10 days. Darn - looks like Candy Crush for me... success all of yesterday and so far today:j
Remember that you are blessed.will donate something outgrown of DS3's donated to a friend, toys and a book of DS3's given to sis for nephew. Have 2 bags ready by front door for cs tomorrow, along with donations also for foodbank and homeless collectiomnI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
