Hello,
This is my first post so bare with me! I'll give you the details!
My GF and I have booked to go to Florida next year (booked with Thomas cook) arriving 6th september 2008 for two weeks! We are staying at Pop Century Disney Resort and have booked Disney Ultimate Tickets as part of the deal!
Now, i see on Thomas Cooks website that they are offering the free disney dinning plan for all holidays booked during Aug 07 for Aug Sep 2008.
I do recall this happening last year as well.
My question is this. I would like the free disney dinning plan, but this deal was not around when i booked. Should i email thomas cook to ask if they will include it retrospectevly or cancel my holiday and rebook to take advantage(we have paid pretty much half of it off at the moment).
Any help or comments will be much appriciated.

Myself and OH are looking to go from Manchester to Orlando for 2 weeks in Jan 08. OH is 6'4" and so we are looking at Premium Economy or similar so he can get extra legroom.
TCD have quoted £1,534 for flydrive
Virgin £1,258 for flight and I can get car hire for £168 = £1,426 total
Can anyone tell me if these are reasonable quotes? Do you think I could get them cheaper if I waited a bit?
Thanks

Hello, you posted in the right place, there are some really helpful people out there! I am not really one of them (!), as all I am going to ask is how much deposit will you lost if you cancel the holiday at the moment?0 -
It is always worth asking, it may also be worth checking what the position would be if you cancel and rebook and what the new price would be. But, I would call and speak to a supervisor rather than write, that way they are more likey to do it as a good will gensture.0

Thanks for the replies people! I spoke to Thomas cook today who told me that the "offer" didnt apply to "value resorts" (ie Pop Century, All Starts Etc) so looks like no disney dinning plan for us!
Now, can anyone who has been before tell me if i am being unrealistic when i say that in two weeks we would like to do all disney, universal studios and seaworld.
Oh and has anyone been to Gatorland and is it worth a visit?
Cheers0 -
Gatorland is about $10 each to get in there is a hands on with small alligators snakes etc and pictures taken.Lots of large pools with lots of alligators in them and thats it.
If you are nearby go it is a morning out at the most,if you have to travel by bus or don't have your own car give it a miss and got to wet and wild/islands of adventure instead.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0 -

According to the ticket price list I picked up in Orlando last month, Gatorland has a gate price of $24 but discounts should bring this down to $17 or so. You should be able to do all the main parks you mention quite comfortably in 2 weeks in September. Busch is well worth a visit too. it is easy to try to do too much and it turns from a holiday into a marathon, so best not to overdo things, relax in between days at parks and if you dont manage everything there is always the next time.0 -

This is right; we went to Gatorland a few weeks ago and paid about $70 for 2 adults and 2 children. This included tax. We also paid $2 each to ride the train (would save my money next time) and if you wanted photos of yourself with the gators that was also extra (to be expected)
We spent a low key couple of hours there and while we enjoyed it, I can't see us going back again for a good number of years. We've been lucky enough to go to Florida 5 times in the last few years so are always on the lookout for new diversions, but I certainly wouldn't call it a must-see for first or even second time visitors.
However if you are a massive lover of gators / snakes then clearly this could be the perfect park for you0
