Also another poster a while back said she got her villa for about £650 with pool heating included . She said she waited until about 3 weeks before she went and posted an ad on a couple of websites to which she got over 100 responses!
Is this a good idea for the time of year I am planning to go, the price is great but I do not want to have nowhere to stay! Also what sites would you put the advert looking for a villa on?

Did exactly that and got a very similar response! Seems to be way more supply than demand on villa rentals out there at the moment. We got ours for £600, inc pool heating, for 12 nights (end of May, into June). Was a 4 bed villa...

    Dear Orlando thread chums

I shall be posting no more. Having spent money hours giving you all free advice and nothing in return was asked by me I have been told that people have complained about me mentioned my two not for money Podcasts Disney Brit and Eye on Orlando.

Those podcasts were their to help you all as I have been but alas no more.

It seems you can be sarky and rude but you can not mention a free to use podcast which is there to help.

Ho hum, take care and have a Magical trip when you all go

    Be safe
    Craig

Absolutely ludicrous. There are some great people on this site, Disney_CJD, being one of them and there are some real anal types too. Where is the harm in advertising a FREE podcast, with the sole aim of helping people enjoy their holiday more?

How far are these villas from the Disney/Universal/Seaworld parks as they all sound amazing?

Ours was 2 mins from the junction of the I4 and US27, so very easy access to the I4 and everything off that.

I am planning to take the family to Orlando at the end of June 2010. I am still unable to get quotes for flights due to shedules not being out yet, however posters on here seem to be booked as far in advance as August 2010! Where should I go for quotes?

Also another poster a while back said she got her villa for about £650 with pool heating included . She said she waited until about 3 weeks before she went and posted an ad on a couple of websites to which she got over 100 responses!

    Sorry for so many questions!

Well spotted hairy. It took me a while to get the link to work so I'm reposting it:

    http://reviews.ebay.com/WALT-DISNEY-WORLD-DISCOUNT-BOOK_W0QQugidZ10000000003650728

On this thread you have a host of people who are regulars or experts on Disney. Some host websites, some have written guide books, some have been cast members, some have been there on holiday for over a year in total. If NONE of them know how to get legitimate 50% discounts on WDW tickets except via timeshare touts, then that probably means that they don't exist. Well done for exposing another scammer.
Thanks vivatifosi, at the time of posting that i couldn't post links.

absolutely agree, Craig has done nothing but help whenever he can.
So what if he brags about being in a podcast, so would I.
as usual, it's the people like Craig, that spend much of their own time and effort helping others, that are subject to complaints when a minority don't like something they post.

Unbeleivable how people can complain about someone who has not done anything but try and help.

After the past few weeks of reading through someone's pathetic arguement posts seeing your posts reappear was a breath of fresh air.

Whoever has complained should own up and state there reasons to us all for why we have now lost a very valuable contributor to this thread.

Good luck Craig - for our sakes I wish you would reconsider.

I dont really understand what the fuss is about Craig. When crabman started this thread I put a lot of places that I have used and still use. But I have now learnt of others. I always mention USrentacar and lastminute villas and indeed Ticketmania, [and if those sites would like to pay me some commission??] Surely this is what this site is all about.
When we first went there was no internet to speak off, I wish there had off been.
Craig, just stick two fingers up at the whingers and carry on. Awful lot of support for you here

OMG I have just read all of these posts, I am a little humbled and did not expect that sort of response. I was not going to post any more as it appear a few people thought I was after personal gain and pushing the shows, which was not the case. I am not in this for anything other than to help and spread the news.

It was not a knee jerk reaction but I wont help where its not needed or wanted but seeing all the messages I can see that it was just a few so I am happy to stay on.

    Thanks all.
