Oh, forgot. Me an mrs are late 20's no kids. The rest of the party have kids and are telling us we should go to Magic kingdom. We dont want to spend 24/7 with the little minxs but we will see them in the waterparks/universal etc but Ive heard mixed reports about magic kingdom. Is it mainly for kids an is it worth me an the mrs going?

    Dear Orlando thread chums

I shall be posting no more. Having spent money hours giving you all free advice and nothing in return was asked by me I have been told that people have complained about me mentioned my two not for money Podcasts Disney Brit and Eye on Orlando.

Those podcasts were their to help you all as I have been but alas no more.

It seems you can be sarky and rude but you can not mention a free to use podcast which is there to help.

Ho hum, take care and have a Magical trip when you all go

    Be safe

ive never been on holiday before where i have been booking the flights myself as i have up to now gone with my parents. i am booking a holiday to orlando florida for june 2010 and would be very appreciative on any advice in terms of flights and car hire.

I have had a look today and got a quote of £1070  from virgin airlines (for 2 people) but then another quote of £640 :j(for 2 people) from somewhere else. So i figured there must be a trick somwhere! Although i did notice the cheaper option meant stopping at another airport fpr a few hours- which i dont mind if its going to knock that much money off!!!

In terms of car hire any prices i have seen seem to be very high! the age may have an influence (i am just tirned 20) but my o/h is 24 which will hopefully be cheaper if he is the driver???

any advice is much appreciated =)

p.s i have tried going on 'opodo' and every flight i cick on it says 'this flight is now unavailable' ???

MSe is strict about advertising of any sort, yet you were allowed to keep your signature, which I thought was fair enough, however tbh I just blanked your "mentioning" of podcasts as they're not my cup of tea, however the users on here ARE entitled to report other folks for highlighting their own websites - whether it's for money or not.;)

No-one on here does it for the money, if they do try then they get reported pronto. I think that's why a forum this huge still works so well. Looks like you're just a casualty.

ps - it's a slow night here - just had a quick check - since 1st July the podcast has been mentioned 9 times - that's why the good folk of MSE have reported it, no doubt! They will think you are benefitting in some way.

I don't think he mentions it that much though I still don't understand why we can't post links like that as every other major forum allows this- it's just selfish as Martin wouldn't have earned commission either way.

If this is a thread on Orlando and he Florida then the Pods are additional resoruced.

Funny how Simon can post about his Brits Guide OK and he makes money from that and do not get me wrong, its a great book and I reconmend it.

So no posts from me (well apart from this one) :) I do this not for money but for my passion for Disney. Good luck to you all

Can you just get a day ticket to Magic kingdom? My bro in law says you can, but Im told by travel agents you cant but they say you may be able to pay on the gate.

Most of the better sites admit they offer no discount on the price of a single day ticket on the price they can be bought for at the gate.;)
