some one asked about how to get free parking? well you cant and this should be included in your costing of the holiday. the only way to get free parking at a disney park is by staying in a disney resort hotel.
you cant catch a bus from downtown disney to a park, you need to go to a resort then wait for the park bus, and then the same to go home.
your daily parking ticket is good for all the parks you visit in the day so if you visit 2 parks keep the ticket and reuse it. @$12 a day that doesnt seem to bad, you would pay that for a few hours parking in the uk.
Parking is included with either of the Disney Annual passes, so maybe this could work out a cheaper option for those out there for a longer holiday or going twice within 12 months. Think the cheapest annual pass is about £3000 -

Current Annual Pass options as follows - all prices in dollars so divide by 1.63 for a GBP price.
If you had a standard Magic Your Way 10 day ticket the cost would be $237
If you added no expropriation to this the cost is $437
An equivalent Annual Pass (Theme Park AP) is $469 plus tax of course of 6%
Florida resident passes are even cheaper
So in GBP the AP is about $469 +7% / 1.63 = £307

Great point Craig - I've not done either of these as my DDs are too old, but ideal for littl'uns that are fans
I miss the old Hollywood & Vine Stars character lunch though - great memories.0 -
Has anyone actually spend over a day at Epcot. It really seems like a 1/2 day to 1 day park to me.
I rarely spend a whole day in Epcot, but over the course of a two week holiday we probably end up being there for three days in total (in hours spent).
We tend to do a couple of early morning visits for Future World, and then loads of late afternoon / evenings wandering around the World Showcase (usually with a Daquiri or three from Morocco in hand). Followed of course by Illuminations
If the idea of wandering around the WS doesn't appeal then you may find just doing Future World (and maybe Maelstrom in Norway?) is enough - then under a day would be plenty.0 -

stayed in animal kingdom lodge , simly brill. Any q's may be able to help
Hello,
We are staying at Animal Kingdom at the end of August...
I've thought of a couple of questions if that's ok...
I've seen they have a kids club, but that you have to pay, but read somewhere that they have occasional kids activities free - is that true?
Also, do I need to book ADR's for eating at the AK restaurants if I am a guest?
Thanks!

May 09 - Horrid Henry book box set, 8GB ipod touch, Jan 10 - Creme Egg keyring, 4 Ripley's Believe it or not museum tickets! Feb 10 - Annabel Karmel snacks, Disney laptop, tumble tots back pack, tumble tots DVD, basket of fruit,
Mar 10 - Farm Frenzy 3 PC game, GHD styler carry case, May 10 - 44 inch chest DVD0 -
Advanced dining reservations - sorry to be dim, but how do I do this online, when I find the restaurants on the Disney website I can't find anywhere to reserve and any links just seem to take me to the main page. I'm obviously doing something really stupid!
Also do I really need lots of ADR's? We are on the Disney Dining Plan (free!) and so would like to make use of the facilities but would prefer some flexibility.
thanks!

Hello,
We are staying at Animal Kingdom at the end of August...
I've thought of a couple of questions if that's ok...
I've seen they have a kids club, but that you have to pay, Yes - Simba's Cubhouse. I think it's $12 per hour per child (they give them tea too). My DDs love it there - and me and Mr KarenG love the chance to have a kid free meal
but read somewhere that they have occasional kids activities free - is that true? Yes and they are great. They can make a bracelet (good for boys as well as girls) by collecting beads by doing certain activities. There are nice sessions at the Arusha Firepit and always Disney CMS to talk to about the art, culture or animals at AKL.
Also, do I need to book ADR's for eating at the AK restaurants if I am a guest? No guarantee you will get a table if you are a guest. You won't need an ADR for the Mara which is like a food court, but Boma & Jiko are popular and you may struggle to get a spot at popular times if you don't have an ADR. Jiko is usually easier to get a table at.
Thanks! Enjoy - it is a lovely resort

Ah, thank you for taking the time to re-explain everything, I kept getting stuck in a loop which kept sending me back to UK site. Now I'm getting somewhere. Sorry for being slow.
Many thanks - much appreciated.
