Well it'd obviously be worthwhile if you're going to use it more than once annually!:) The nice thing with the AP is that you get the free parking in the parks and like you said, the discount is a nice touch.
Work it out, if you're going to be staying offsite, think of how many times you'll be visiting the parks. Then add together how much the parking for the X amount of days and add that to how much a usual pass would cost. If it's higher, then grab an annual and enjoy the benefits:)Bankrupt 28/07/08!0 -
Yes you will need change, but pretty sure the first couple you come too are manned so notes are fine0

Just returned from Orlando and flew into Orlando Intl airport, there are 2 tolls on your way to Kissimmee (if you use the standard route out of the airport to join the I4. $1 and 75c. Go to the manned ones for change.0

Actually, provided you avoid the Western Expressway (429), which you could use for a slight shortcut from I-4, you won't encounter any tolls at all. Just take I-4 all the way east from Tampa (you will need to pick up I-275 north first, once you leave Tampa Airport) to Exit 62B for Walt Disney World, then take the left on Griffin Rd that takes you west Highway 192. Turn left (west) on the 192 and the Formosa Gardens area (by Marker 4) is just 3/4 of a mile along on the left. The only highways in central Florida which require toll money are the 429, 528 (Beachline Expressway), 417 (Central Florida Greeneway), East-West Expressway (downtown), Florida Turnpike and Osceola Parkway.0

was wondering if anyone has stayed at The Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista? we are looking for nov 2010 for 2 adults & 3 children & was hoping anyone may have experiences to tell?
also what tickets are the best value, we want to mix some Disney but also want to desperatly do Seaworld too!
That hotel is in a very good location on Palm Parkway in LBV, albeit right alongside main motorway I-4, hence there can be a bit of traffic noise if you're by the pool (or have a room facing the road). It is a very standard motel-style Inn, with the roms set out in low-rise blocks around some nice gardens. It consistently gets good value-for-money ratings but remember this is basically a budget-priced hotel, so there are few frills and fancy touches. It is also quite big, so the room cleaning can be a little bit hit-and-miss, but you should bring this to the management's attention if things aren't up to a decent standard.
Here is the hotel's own website: http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-lake_buena_vista-florida-FL445
As regards tickets, if you're just looking to do Disney, you can't beat the vfm of the 14-day Ultimate Ticket (presuming you're going for 2 weeks). For SeaWorld, a simple 1-day ticket (buy online at www.seaworld.com) will be best value, as they usually have a 2nd Day Free offer as you leave the park. But don't forget there are also the Universal parks, too!0 -

(Have always done it as a big family thing, but wouldn't mind doing it just myself and the better half).
Also, can you get cheap 1 or 2 bed Villas with swimming pools? Much prefer Villa holidays, but couldn't justify the cost of anything big, but doubt Mrs Blink would like a shared pool at a motel (although are these kept well? I can't help thinking of "My Name Is Earl")
Sad i know but i am sitting at the pool in Florida reading MSE, we paid £650 for a four bed villa with pool heat, free phone calls to the UK, free wireless internet for 17 nights. There is only 2 of us but still like a villa, we booked the flights early but the villa we booked around 3 weeks before we flew, we got over 100 replies to our ad on two sites for a villa so plenty to pick from. Sorry have to go going to visit the mouse.0
