Does anyone know what's the best way to get from the airport to WDW?
As Dazzer says you have a few options. I am assuming you are flying into Orlando International (MCO) If you are going into Sanford its a little more expensive
1. If you are staying in a Disney Hotel
You cna use the Magical Express but you will need to book this. Its bus service run by Disney which takes you to your hotel from Orlando International airport (MCO)
2. Use a Town Car service
Someone like Florida Town Cars or Tiffany Town Cars (https://www.tiffanytowncars.com) or even Quicksilver all have rates on their websites (google them) and you are collected from baggage claim and taken in a nice town car to the hotel and collected again
3. Take a cab
For an idea of cost use th taxi fare calculator on https://www.mearstransportation.com
4. Hire a car
Places like https://www.carhireflorida.net are good.
You cant walk, its too far

(Have always done it as a big family thing, but wouldn't mind doing it just myself and the better half).
Also, can you get cheap 1 or 2 bed Villas with swimming pools? Much prefer Villa holidays, but couldn't justify the cost of anything big, but doubt Mrs Blink would like a shared pool at a motel (although are these kept well? I can't help thinking of "My Name Is Earl")
Would be looking at going in Septemeber 2010.
Cheers
The smallest villa we had was a three bed townhouse with splash pool at the Windsor hills resort. It was only £100 more for the two weeks than an apartment and only three of us were in it.
Really like the resort stayed there twice now.0 -

Can you use it to draw cash out and spend like a credit card?

It would be Orlando (MCO) through Virgin. Disney resort is Walt Disney World Dolphin. Would disney magical express be available with this as it doesn't mention anything on the virgin holidays website. Is it available as both too and from the airport.
As I have seen from a google map that WDW is MUCH MUCH bigger than disneyland paris it seems like getting from one park to another will be difficult without a car. Just thinking about it at the moment though.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but you can't use Disney's Magical Express for the Dolphin (or the Swan). It's because it's not a Disney hotel, it is (I think) a Sheraton or Westin.
The good news is that it is in a brilliant location - 10 mins or so walk to Epcot, 15 mins to Hollywood Studios and right on the Boardwalk :T0 -

We were just out there and, despite just the two of us and baby, we got a cracking deal on a 4 bedroom house. Had it's own private pool out the back, ensuite bathroom and was fully detached... so no noise. Price included pool heating and was just £600 for the 12 nights... We've always gone for a villa when we go out there - really enjoy the privacy and the same facilities as home, such as own kitchen, lounge etc.
For villa's, check out the owners section on https://www.thedibb.co.uk Right now, there seems to be more supply than demand for villas, so they're falling over themselves to get business...0 -

We are going in August to a villa which sleeps 8/10 in Kissimmee. Costs £350 per week all in which I think is pretty good considering I've just paid £750 for a bungalow in Cornwall for a week.

I cant book it until end of September. Does anyone have any idea if i will be able to get those prices when i am able to book at the end of sept?.I am on a tight budget and have based actually arranging the surprise on these flight amounts so i don't want to get my hopes up :j.any advice gratefully received. FYI i don't mind stops in the flight. Many thanks.0
