Does anyone know what's the best way to get from the airport to WDW?

depends. which airport at orlando and where in wdw do you want to go?
if youve bookedto stay in a disney resort, you should have disney magical express booked in with the resort which is a free coach pick up from airport and return to airport service. other wise you will probably need to get a taxi if your not hiring a car. sorry to be obvious but the question was a bit vague.

Can anyone tell me how this works. I understand that you preload the card but then how do you spend it and what happens if you run out of credit whilst in the US?

Can you use it to draw cash out and spend like a credit card?

Sorry if I have posted in wrong forum but I am going to WDW!

thats what I'm doing, you preload it with sterling, its transferred into $ at that days rate. You spend as normal (everywhere a mastercard is accepted) using secure chip and pin.

You can load on more from your bank account via phone.

It would be Orlando (MCO) through Virgin. Disney resort is Walt Disney World Dolphin. Would disney magical express be available with this as it doesn't mention anything on the virgin holidays website. Is it available as both too and from the airport.

As I have seen from a google map that WDW is MUCH MUCH bigger than disneyland paris it seems like getting from one park to another will be difficult without a car. Just thinking about it at the moment though.

45 mins is the standard connection time from an international flight to a domestic (internal) flight, so you will be fine. If for any reason your transatlantic flight is delayed and you miss your connection, providing the flights have all been ticketed together (ie you have booked them at the same time through the same company), then the transatlantic airline have an obligation to get you on the next available flight. If you have, for example, bought your transatlantic tickets with Virgin and then the internal flights with Expedia, then Virgin do not have to get involved and it will be up to you to sort it out direct with the internal airline.

You have to clear customs on your 1st entry point into the US, otherwise, when you get off your domestic flight, there are no customs!!!

yes you really cant compare paris to orlando, walt disney world, its self is the size of manchester!, and the parks inside wdw are spread out the only 2 you could walk to epcot to hollywood studios, and thats quiet a walk.
if its a virgin holiday you should have disney magical express transfers to the resort and back to airport, and as your staying in a disney resort hotel dolphin, you have free use of the disney shuttle buses from your hotel to all the parks.
i would check with virgin that you have DME its free and should be included, plus if you dont want a car make sure thats not included as virgin normally bung one in.
dolphin is a great hotel, walking distnace to the boardwalk area, which is an old fashion american sea side looking place, all weatherboard buildings and old boats on the lake, lighthouse its beautiful in the evening for a nice stroll . enjoy!

Guys - I know I post in here a bit and should probably have a better idea, but ballpark figure what would you budget for 2 people on a flydrive for 2 weeks? Flights, Car, Rooms?
(Have always done it as a big family thing, but wouldn't mind doing it just myself and the better half).

Also, can you get cheap 1 or 2 bed Villas with swimming pools? Much prefer Villa holidays, but couldn't justify the cost of anything big, but doubt Mrs Blink would like a shared pool at a motel (although are these kept well? I can't help thinking of "My Name Is Earl")

Would be looking at going in Septemeber 2010.

    Cheers
