I'm looking at getting a combined Busch Gardens + Sea World ticket. My parents are travelling with myself and my wife and 2 children.

Is it possible for my wife and I to take the kids to busch and then for them to go with grandparents to sea world all on the same tickets ? We all have the same surname .

When we went two years ago the tickets were wrong and had my Mums name on a childs ticket and my sons name on a adult ticket. We were told they would need changing when we got there. Nobody ever noticed and we just went in and out without a problem every time.

    Hiya

Can anyone tell me what Old town orlando is like and how far away it is from idrive,

    cheers

    sam:p

Not aware of an Orlando Old Town. There is Downtown Orlando which when we went couple of years ago was a bit of a non event!! Lot of it closed down.
There is Old Town, Kissimmee where they have the car shows on a Friday and Saturday and it gets very busy. It now has 'The Fun Spot' which does have free transport to it its just alongside Old Town.Couple of bars as Sturll describes it 'head to Old Town for the cheap bars and cheesy music/karaokes.'

As to decent bars, there is a couple of the 'ranch' style bars up Orange Blossom Trail.:rotfl:

can someone advice me on tickets?

we have never been to orlando and we have found a good deal for 4 of us to go for two weeks in august (flight and hotel and car) for £2000 - I presume that is a good price? staying at the radisson?

anyhow - we want to go to the parks, disney, epcot, bucsh gardens, universal etc, but we don't know what we need to look for as regards to tickets and tbh, we don't really know what parks we should do or should not bother with, I suppose with the children they will want to go to as many parks as they can whilst we are there so can anyone advise on what parks are on the 'must do list' but also what type of tickets to get, we don't want to be going to one park in the morning and then another in the afternoon, once in we are staying in - can anyone please help me with what tickets etc I should be looking to get?

    thanks in advance

wow, im finding it difficult getting 2 of us to disney for £2000,,

as far as parks/tickets,, depends how old the kids are,, under a certain age i would not take to universal as theres not a lot for small kids, but seaworld is great for everyone plus the 4 disney parks + 2 water parks

we do this at least once a yeat as its normally a lot cheaper. you are an extra 30 mins aways from orlando but as only one flight arrives there at the time the BA one does and so you are out quicker and offslki

And yes Stu its lovelya ccess for CLearwater

Also if you are looking at Tampa you can always fly into it then out of Orlando, just use Kayak or BA multicity option to see the prices

    Cheers

Thanks for that, we normally fly into Sanford from glasgow however it looks like there will be no direct flight to Florida from Scotland over the winter months so it looks like London or Manchester, drive to Manchester then into Orlando is the same cost as flying Glasgow Gatwick then Tampa which i fancy more TBH given it's all with BA.

Thinking of a week in Kissimmee with family and a week in Clearwater over christmas and new year.

We are flying from Edinburgh to NEwark, then Newark to MCO this Christmas, I think it'll break the flight up quite nicely.:D That's with Continental.

Hi all, has anyone any experience of buying the Lynx passes from their website before travelling? There appears to be an express and a standard pass- but no explanation of the difference..

Also, I have been looking at the timetables, but cannot work out which buses we would use? We are going to Florida in September and staying at the Holiday Inn. Planning to visit all the Disney parks, Seaworld & the two main malls..

Any help/advice from those in the know would be great!!!!

    Right guys,

I can find a package for about £608.00 per person staying at Radison for July 2nd to July 9th.

My issue is this - return flights are about £350ish for the same dates. That means we're paying £516 extra for a weeks accomodation in a 3 star hotel.

Surely I can find cheaper accomodation in a better hotel right?

    Any good websites for accomodation?

Anyone stayed at the Parc Soleil By Hilton Grand Vacations?
