we used www.villarenters.com for this reason, they have a big selection, are easily searchable, but most of all they organise payment to the owner, no foreign transaction cheques etc. to organise. We used them for our Malaga villa last Chrsitmas, and are using them again for Florida this Christmas, I think £15 standard booking charge is reasonable, I don't mind paying a little bit of money for added peace of mind.:D

Thanks for that. Ive found a villa for 2 weeks at xmas which is £900. The owners are in the UK (Scotland) but I'm just a bit wary about handing over a large deposit without really knowing who they are! I wouldnt be concerned if it was a credit card transaction.

i have just booked a villa privately and this crossed my mind too, however i did a google of the name etc and stuff came up from 2007 so i was happy then, got a fab price and the villa looks lush, when the paperwork turned up it was all professionally printed too and with a dvd so i feel pretty confident they are legit. also they are a memeber of some associations

Rental systmes have a live chat you can ask them via this how their systems work....I've asked questions using their live chat help before, it's a bit clunky but always got an answer straight away.

£900 for Christmas is a really good price...we are more than that, but probably because we had pretty specific ''must have' lists..

We;'re staying in Glenbrook resort, have now seen the house on Google MAps (you get the exact address after you book...this makes sense to me, if they gave out the address beforehand some folk would be squatting for free using availability calendars...:rotfl:

We have booked one just like this one at the beginning of the year, but it cost more than this...this one comes in at £840 for Crimbo... I really shouldn't look at prices, should I ??

You can pay villarenters by credit card (the booking system is called rental systems.;)

Well, put in my request to book last night. Now just waiting for a response. Found a 3 bed one in Davenport (Bridgewater Crossings). Looks really nice. Total cost £700! Last time I went to Florida was 1994 so I bet things have changed somewhat. I like the way you can book less than a week (we have booked 11 days so I suppose that's why its a little cheaper). Will just need to pay for the pool heating.

I spoke to the owners of the other villa I was looking at you could only pay by paypal or send a cheque. I prefer to go through an agent and although they are not ABTA protected, I should be covered with my credit card company.

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    I agree.

Not only that but you can get absolutely hammered with the amount of pubs/bars there is.

Oh, and don't forget. It is compulsory that every English person who visits old town must call into the 'English Fish and Chip Shop' and tell the guy who owns it how ridiculous his prices are.
    :D

I am looking for disney tickets orlando.

I have been looking at the "magic your way plus" tickets
If I buy a 7 day magic your way plus tickets does that mean I have 7 days at disney/mgm/epcot/ak etc PLUS an additional 7 days on top of that at water parks.

For example I could go 7 days in a row to the magic kingdom (NOT THAT I WOULD WANT TO) then go to 7 water parks all within the 14 time expiration all for the 7 day pass ?

or does the 7 day ticket include days used at water park as the same as a visit the the magic kingdom

    Any thoughts ?

    describes it for you.

Depends on when you want to go....

will you go to one park in the morning, then maybe a water park later the same day? That's two of your visits used up....

remember the UK version is Disney's Ultimate 14 day , visit anything anytime whenever you want for the two weeks. It's more expensive, depends on how you want to do your Disney.
