Having said that I have always been on holiday when I was there so I was probably a lot more relaxed when driving.
As for signposting in Florida though
Agree, having driven thousands of miles all over the US id say they are much more careful and relaxed drivers than here in the UK.
Next time you're at some lights and it turns green, watch how painfully slow the drivers start moving.0 -

I agree, driving in the US is much easier than driving here.
It was the one thing I was worried about the first time we went, but it was so easy that we've now been several times, to different states, and never had a problem (with the exception of the San Bernardino Freeway across LA, but that's another story!! :rotfl:)2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

also check out its own website, it has some nice pictures on there
I stayed in the Floridays in April
Good Points: Apartments are very large, two bathroom, the master one being enormous. Very well appointed. Great facilites in the rooms includes washing maching and dryer which really helped. Pools are a bit crowded but we were there at Easter, staff helpful. Most other guests were American and friendly. Did not see one football shirt in the two weeks:j
Less Good Points: Maid service can be hit or miss and may need reminded to actually arrive on any given day.
Restaurant poor on site and no other restaurant within walking distance so its a car drive. Whatever you do avoid the nearby Chinese Takeaway/Restaurant, I won't go into details but enough said about it. There is a daily charge for the use of internet, parking etc. This is manditory. Its annoying but when you add it to the price we paid at the time for the Floridays it was still a bargain when you see some of the "hotels" on ID.
In short if you find a good price for the Floridays its definately up to scratch.0 -

Is this from musikick.co.uk? I found the FlexTicket Plus for £147 on their site and emailed them asking for details (eg, actual tickets or vouchers). That was way back at the beginning of April and I have yet to receive a reply! Needless to say, I'm still looking for tickets... :rolleyes:0 -

Err yes, but the person was trying to avoid paying to park by parking at DTD. I'd like to think they wouldn't bother with this if they were staying onsite
Can you tell this is one of my pet hates0 -

I was mainly talking about the jumping of red lights, a very real problem for them and also the erratic lane changes and cutting up to hit an exitSelf confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!
