just a quick park question. my ds is just 3. how closely do they look at the kids on admission? he is a very young 3 at that. and I am wondering if I should buy him a ticket. I wish it went on height as he won't go on anything.

The Disney rule is if they turn 3 during their stay then you do not need a pass for them

The moral question is there for yourself to answer

For me, with both of my kids I went on heights. When they were tall enough to do more than Dumbo i.e. then they got kids tickets :)

When my daughter was 2 she turned 3 during our stay so i decided not to get her a ticket.

We were never asked for proof of age, but if they had i think i would have simply left that park and gone to another rather than go and buy a ticket.

Indeed, infact you would have been OK as you would not have needed one if she was 3 during your trip as confirmed by Disney, but i have never seen anyone asked, it woudl not be the Disney way to intrude :)

    Hi all,

im after a bit of help. going to florida at the end of june and planning to do all the ususal stuff like Busch Gardens, universal, etc. but have recently found out about Sundown Safari and Night Safari - really interested in these, has anyone been on either of them and what are your experiences?
Also, tried to book night safari on BG website, but only lets me book up until end of may. does anyone know why this might be?

we are staying in a villa for 1st week on the gulf coast then heading to Floridays Resort on international drive. anybody stayed there? any good?

A few questions i know, but i appreciate any help going!
    Thanks.

I have done a bit of research on teh Dibb for the Floridays for some others and it got very good reviews. Its at the better end of I Drive so you should be fine

also check out its own website, it has some nice pictures on there

Anyone..?I dont think you can buy these from the WD parks

if you are only buying for a few days then use the Unoffical Guide to WDW website which is https://www.touringplans.com on this site you will see on the left hand side the Cheapest Ticket Calculator and here you can pop in what you want, i.e. one day two day with hopper or waterparks etc (many combinations) and it will search all the agents and discounts etc for you.

I get up and go over for about 9, have never queued in 4 years. I then go to water parks/shopping whatever and am at the gate about 30 mins prior to flight whereby they are already boarding. I don;t have to get to the airport early because im already checked in and bags have been dropped. I literally get out the car, through the airport, onto the flight and by the time ive got comfy the plane is being pushed back.

I am with you and I never used to pay for the check in as I had a Virgin Gold card, but since my wings were clipped adn I got demoted to Silver I never did it as I was too tight to pay $40 to do it and just checked in online and got to the airport and hour before wheels up

Hi folks, is there much to do with a 2 year old and a 3.5 year old at disney? Or would we be better not bothering with the parks and just doing a Florida beach hol?

    Thanks, SFG x

    yes, lots and lots

The MK is the prime place for preschoolers and toon town fair is great. But AK has the great Dinoland, MGM has wonderful shows and even Epcot has somethings for them like Crush and other great rides.

If you desperately want to avoid paying to park, then look into buying a Disney Annual pass for one person in your party. Do the sums and see if the extra will be worth it; sometimes it can be.

Or stay in a Disney hotel as park parking would be free then

    Nice one.
You are going at a great time (arguably one of the best) of the year.

Where is your Villa and have you got a car?

Unless its half term week of course :)
