just a quick park question. my ds is just 3. how closely do they look at the kids on admission? he is a very young 3 at that. and I am wondering if I should buy him a ticket. I wish it went on height as he won't go on anything.

They might ask for proof of age which they did with my friends son, she had to go and buy a pass over there then which is more £££
Also if they asked him would he say he was three?? They don't usually lie do they LOL

    Hi all,

im after a bit of help. going to florida at the end of june and planning to do all the ususal stuff like Busch Gardens, universal, etc. but have recently found out about Sundown Safari and Night Safari - really interested in these, has anyone been on either of them and what are your experiences?
Also, tried to book night safari on BG website, but only lets me book up until end of may. does anyone know why this might be?

we are staying in a villa for 1st week on the gulf coast then heading to Floridays Resort on international drive. anybody stayed there? any good?

A few questions i know, but i appreciate any help going!
    Thanks.

Personally we didnt like Busch Gardens, were very disappointed with the animals, loved Animal Kingdom. But thats not the answer to your question, you will find LOADS of help on the www.thedibb.co.uk which is a forum made of up British visitors to Orlando. There will certainly be the information you need on there

When my daughter was 2 she turned 3 during our stay so i decided not to get her a ticket.

We were never asked for proof of age, but if they had i think i would have simply left that park and gone to another rather than go and buy a ticket.

So would I.....but my friend happened to be in a large party on holiday and having travelled to the park in a group vehicle, paid the parking etc, she didnt have a choice.

Anyone..?I dont think you can buy these from the WD parks

apparently it is 80 bucks a day over there, orlando attractions do 3 days for 148 so not much price difference for an extra day

Just looking at options for car hire in Florida. I don't need a 2nd driver which is included in gold cover the only other benefit of gold is you get a tank of fuel. I am looking at booking with budget via usrentacar.co.uk & the gold is £40 more.

If i don't book the gold will I be ripped off with the fuel cost or can I simply take & return the car with a full tank thus paying no extra to budget?

No, Budget were excellent with me this year $1-99 per gallon. We decided against going for gold ,$31 for full tank on a Chev. Impala. I booked the car through usrentacar. Had the upgrade too.:D

I've noticed a couple of times people have mentioned extras when they went to pick up their hire car. I've just rechecked mine and it says
Hertz: All prices are fully inclusive of unlimited mileage (this does not always apply to cars from Hertz Canada or Australia, or any Hertz Advance rates*), third party insurance, loss damage waiver (no excess applies to cars from Hertz USA), theft waiver, airport surcharge and all local taxes.

Is there anything else that I need to watch out for? I don't want to be hit with a huge bill as soon as we get there.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
