My 14 day Disney ticket has just arrived through the post from Virgin in voucher form.
We arrive on a Weds afternoon but want to be able to do AK first thing on Thurs morning. Any advice on where to take the voucher to exchange for tickets on the Weds or is it simply a case of turning up on Thurs morning and going to a booth in AK?
I'd be grateful for any tips, thanks.0 -

You can exchange your vouchers at Guest Relations in DowntownDisney - the right hand side of the map next to number 27.0 -
I can't tell you the enjoyment I have had out of reading both of these books, with never having been before it has made me realise the enormity of it all. The trouble is I have picked up that many tips I will have to take a suitcase with all my notes. I like the tips on registering for discount coupons for resturants and shopping (I think doing all that will pay for more than the costs of the books.)
I fully intend to follow the Tour Planners. If you see a mad woman with a loads of notes /discount coupons in Orlando that will be me:o
I have found www.thedibb.co.uk extremely useful for car hire guidance etc.
I have also bought the big Orlando map (don't think my brain can absorb much more.)
I am a bit sad and compulsive and buy boh books each year. BUT I do prefer the Unoffical Guide as I prefer Disney. It also bases so much of its content on researcha nd fact rather than just opinion. However the Brits guide covers more of what to do in Orlando and has some great tips so I use them both but if needs must then i would choose UGTWDW

That is such a lovely gesture :T:T
Indeed, and they sent me an email saying its been made up and on its way! They have also included some pins you can not buy which was nice even though the value of the pins is irrelevant, they just love certain puns, it sure makes a change to get great service

We have stayed at SpringHill Suites Orlando Convention Center and is rated as No 4 in Orlando hotels.
Check out the reviews here http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g34515-d88228-Reviews-SpringHill_Suites_Orlando_Convention_Center-Orlando_Florida.html
The last time I stayed on i drive it was at the Marriott which is now the Wydym I think but I have heard good things about the Florudays and its looks to be in an decent location.
The unoffical guide also rates hotel so may be worth a nose in thereSelf confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Cant book separate flights until 360 days before travel.
Yes thats right although some airlines have slightly longer windows than others. I think BA goes further out than Virgin for instance

I've a few Q's about Florida if anyones willing to help.
Can anyone recommend some good but cheap villa's? If so, how far from Orlando?
How much spending money would you take for each for 2 wks? £400 enough?
There are 6 of us going (4 adults, 2 kids) and we plan to do a big shop and eat breakfast at the villa and 1 meal a day out. (e.g take packed lunch to the park or cook dinner in the eve).
Thanks in advance of your replies.Squish0 -

just take as much as you can afford, if you dont take enough youll kick your self, if theres something you want to do or buy and cant, and if you take too much you can bring it back! im taking £800 for two weeks, so we are taking £1600 for the 2 of us, but we wont spend it all, but we will be able to do what we want, and not worry about it.better to take too much than not enough
Im worried about the exchange rate of changing it back if we take way too much though. As its a group of us doing a couple weekly shops, i was hoping £800 for me and my bf would be enough for food and any bits we wanna buy. We will buy all tickets beforehand.Squish0 -

What you will find is you will manage on whatever you take.
A few years back i was bored and only had a few K available. I booked a 2 week holiday to Florida and only had £600 left for spend. That was for 1 adult and 2 kids.
I had more than enough.
Most recently i went and spent to the tune of about £3k over 2 weeks.
Point being you can manage on whatever you take. If you search back over this thread i did a page on how to manage on £5 - £30 per day.0
