were off to florida on 6th june, just wondered if anyone had any ideas on keeping a 4 & 2 year old occupied on the flight, my little lad has a ds he's taking with him but he'll get fed up with this after a while. Also may be a totally silly question but can you take your own sandwiches etc on the flight my kids are fussy eaters and probably won't touch the inflight meal.

    Thanks

Free Disney Dining Package for 2010 out now. For stays between 1st Aug 2010 and 18th Nov 2010 then the Free Counter Dining Package is free at moderate hotels and can be upgraded to the Table Dining Package for just £5 per person per day.

For this offer you must book both room and a ticket package.

I have just booked for End Sept 2010 to Early Oct 2010 with a £50 per person deposit. :cool2:

It does not mention it on the home page, but if you put the dates in - up it comes.

We took sandwiches and chicken drumsticks etc for the kids a few years ago with no pronlem however you have to bin all food like that (cooked food, fruit etc) before you can get passed immigration in the states.

Not been with Virgin, but I have heard that they are good.

We went with American (via NY), and they had in seat screens and you could play games on them as well as watch a choice of films (you couldn't choose when they started though), but would imagine this would be a bit too intricate for young kids.

As for food and security, I think it is only liquids that you are limited on going through security, but can't be 100% certain. You should be able to check on your airline's website.

Its only liquids that are a problem going through security, in the past we have bought Boot's meal deals after security and its okay to take them on the plane.

    Well said.

I presume the 'animal welfare folk' think that a 5'5" 9st female whale trainer is able to force a massive killer whale to do tricks??

I would imagine an unhappy/badly treated killer whale would be intelligent enough to kill the trainer when in the water with them if they were being a threat to them??

I do agree though that the best place to see these wonderful creatures is in the wild. But saying that, it's not always a pleasant sight seeing what killer whales get up to in the wild.

I've been to Seaworld 3 or 4 times and have really enjoyed every visit... I can't wait to take my kids there when they're a bit older.

'Animal Welfare folk' There was me thinking id been called everything ;)

But if that is what you call someone who believes Whales and Dolphins should be free to roam the oceans and not be 'entertainment' in some pool - Then i guess for once i am what someone has called me.

    :D

My kids preferred Seaworld to every other park (aged 5 and 2), although watching the animals perform wasn't high on their list, it was the rides. and being february, it was so quiet they went on everything almost straight away.
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?
