Out of interest, how did Space Mountain differ to the one in Paris?
13 weeks till we go (for the 1st time) and my husband is bricking it about the coasters. Not been a huge fan of them myself but Im determined to experience as much of the parks as I possibly can:D

I was lucky enough to win a 7 day pass for one in the Superbowl sweepstake. The kids have never been to Universal as they are still too young in my mind at 7 and 4, but I will maybe take them in October or December and will have to spring for the tickets for mrs cjd and the kids. Dont get me wrong I am not anti Universal, I like it very much, but I prefer Disney for sure

Just booked the Polyneasian for our 10th wedding anniversay, dinner at Califona Grill and then fireworks. Also booekd a carriage ride (and secret glass slipper) :)

    Cheers

Wow, that sounds amazing!! Lucky you and Mrs CJD :)

My DDs really loved bits of Universal when they went but they were a little older than yours (6 & 9 IIRC). Suess Landings was a massive hit, particularly the water play area.

Thanks for settling my palpatations about the TTA :D

I've only been brave enough to go on the green side, but DH was properly unable to walk for about the same time as you after the orange side!

Space Mountain in WDW is nowhere near as vicious as the Paris one. It's like a crazy mouse (??) ride in the dark basically (but still good fun!)

I'm not a fan of coasters - the only 2 I did in 2 weeks in Florida were Cheetah Chase (kids ride) at Busch Gardens, and Space Mountain. If I can go on Space Mountain, anyone can (I hate the big drops, it has no big drops and no loops)

Now Id like to think I am a proper man, but I felt really rough after Misson Space Orange. It really made me feel wobbly. But my then year old loved it to bits. My then 4 year old cried to bits as he could not go on it. But after seeing my face I think he was happy he did not! :)

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom with myu folks in tow. my 4 year old is big enough for EE but I am not sure he will like it so I might wait and see what he says. When he did ToT at Hollywood Studios he got off and I said "Did you like it?" he said "no" I said "do you want to go on it again?" he said " yes yes yes" and did it three more times!

No problems and thanks for the heads up on ages. As I have this free ticket maybe I will take them in Oct or Dec. I will keep a look out for a cheap universal hotel so any tips on where to look for the deals please Karen would be great.

As for the other parks, I saw here on the TV tongith (whilst watching 24!!!) that pay for a day at either sea world or BG and you can come back all year. May be worth checking that out before buying a flex ticket.

    Cheers
