Can anyone suggest where abouts in the Quailty Inn Plaza we should get a room? Also can you pre-book? I have read they are refurbishing the hotel, is it very disruptive? Does anyone have an email address for the hotel.
Thank you
Ideally ask for a pool facing room to ensure its away from the I4 (as it can be quite noisy on that side). I would also ask for a room reasonably close to the bar/restaurant as theres nothing worse than a long walk from the car park or bar at night.
It depends on what the refurbishment is. A few years ago they were decorating rooms and replacing TVs etc in each room. It wasnt disruptive at all at that time.

Paul, try this site if your still having trouble with virgin
best4usa.com attraction tickets
Hope this helps
Best4usa.com are owned by (bought them out a few yrs ago) www.pillingerworldtravel.co.uk
check out the two websites - there identical!!!
Dont take any notice of the prices on best4usa because they will only tell you they have gone up - strangely to the same price as those on Pillinger:rotfl:
Also Pillinger prices have now gone up cos they sourced there tickets from Virgin who have now closed there doors and will only sell to people who have booked there hols through them.
Check out this website - prices in dollars though so you will have do the conversion.
Hope this helps!0 -

Ok, thanks mate. I checked on best usa4.com and the prices seemed fairly decent actually! When you wrote 'check out this website- prices in dollars' did you mean to insert a link??0 -

So true and it cost me £22 from Animal Kingdom bar in Africa! Nationwide response was it was not my normal behavior with a CC. And it took 24 hours to reactivate it. I went mad I had very little money with me--but managed to buy a couple of drinks. I had informed nationwide i would be in the USof A too. They did refund the phone call tho!!
Well done with that Atro1
Nationwid were a right pain when we were christmas shopping one year. Their ciomputer systems stops the card after between 8 and 12 transactions a day and we had done 10 and it stopped in Target. I called them (cost a bomb) and they siad that it was fine you just had to get the cashier to do a manual authorisation. Well as I am sure you all knmow getting our US mates to think outside the box is a waste of time so no one could get it to work.
So now I am with the Post Office credit card and they ar ace. No comission charges on currency overseas spends adn if you tell them where you are going, they wont block you

For Football, can definitely recommend the Double Eagle, it is just past JT's, which i would warn against!
They have a loads of tellies and have number of different games and even sports on at once, with commentary from the main English game!
If you arein a villa or hotel adbn you can always try the Fox soccer channel. For instance last week they had the Spurs and Chelsea game on
Also if you have your laptop or a compute you can get it all at Justin dot tv or one of the many other iraqgoal sites

Hi
Received a letter from Thomas Cook this morning and they have cancelled my hoilday in december to Disney. I'm absolutely gutted. They are cancelling all flights from manchester to sandford during the winter.
I've been on the disney site and on the virgin site and to book independantly it works out a few hundred pounds cheaper. Is this a safe option.
thanks everyone

I bought our flexticket+ from Virgin Holidays website last Wednesday (18th). We have not booked anything else with them & I have today received an email from them telling me that you can only purchase park tickets from them if you have booked a holiday through them.
They have taken my deposit payment & I am just waiting for the invoice before I pay the rest. Does anybody know whether they can change their minds & refund the payment or am I likely to have just scraped in?
Thanks
