You'll get a voucher through the post about 2 weeks before you are due to go.
Exchange it at Disney and Universal. Takes 2 mins.0 -
Anyone know what the duty free rules are for returning from the US with an Internal connecting flight?
Can we buy our duty free at Orlando and then carry it on wherever we connect, or do we have to wait until we reach our connecting airport (not sure which on the way back), and buy it there.
I understand that on the way out, anything you buy has to go in to your checked luggage before the connecting flight, but on the way back you don't get to see your luggage.....
The rules all seem very confusing0 -

I am sure we have purchased prevously at our last US stop beore getting on the plane back home. So if we've flown Orlando -Newark - Bristol we have bought perfume etc at Newark. Then we take it on the plane (I think they give it to you at the gate but I may be getting mixed up with Orlando?)
I have no idea if that is the rule or not, sorry, but I am sure that's what we did.0 -

Im unsure but i would have thought that if you come out of the airport security zone ie into the area where the general public have haven't cleared security are then you can't however if your connecting flight allows you to remain within the airport security then i don't think you have a problem.
Best checking at the airport first before making any purchases.0 -

Hello,
It's my first posting on these forums. Off to Florida in a couple of months and just like to say this forum has been really useful.
I know everyone says Virgin are amongst the cheapest places to book your attraction tickets from, however I've just called and they will no longer sell attractions tickets unless you have booked at least a seven-day holiday with them. They're in the process of updating the website to allow for this apparently.
Unfortunately I've only got a flight booked with them, so the quest for cheap tickets begins again...
Good job I got in early then - booked mine with them last week:j0
