    Hello,
It's my first posting on these forums. Off to Florida in a couple of months and just like to say this forum has been really useful.
I know everyone says Virgin are amongst the cheapest places to book your attraction tickets from, however I've just called and they will no longer sell attractions tickets unless you have booked at least a seven-day holiday with them. They're in the process of updating the website to allow for this apparently.
Unfortunately I've only got a flight booked with them, so the quest for cheap tickets begins again...

Yes its expensive to make and receive calls whilst away. What I do is that we bought two tracfone from Walmart (see www.tracfone.com) they were $10 each. You then buy credit, so 60 units is $20. You can get codes for doubling that so you can get 120 units for $20.

I totally agree - I use mine all the time - we've had them for 3 years now and I think they are great value for money:beer:

hi, am defo going to check these out - is there a walmart near I Drive, we dont have a car but are going to buy the i ride ticket. Taxis if all else fails.
    Thanks..

    Birthday Fun Card restrictions

A note for any annual passholders who may opt for the Birthday Fun Card while visiting WDW instead of the free birthday admission ticket. The card is only valid for merchandise once you leave the ticket window - if you want to use the value of the card to renew/upgrade your annual pass you must do so right then and there. Walk away and you can only use the card to buy merchandise up to its $75 value at participating locations. It is not good for ticket purchases once you walk away from the window.

    Hiya

Im looking to try and go away next summer or the summer after to Disney.

I was trying to get a rough price so went to Virgin who I have looked at before, they didnt seem to have the option of a villa like they have in the past, anyone know why?

Anyone know how else another way to book a flight and villa as a package?

Theres 4 kids and 2 adults so dont really want a hotel.

I know its taboo on here and I do agree! But if anyone is going with Virgin for the first time let someone on here refer you its easy and it will give the reffed, miles. I would think that all the regular posters on here have virgin miles accounts!! Sorry mods but just something that crossed my mind!

I think the nearest Wallmart is the one on SR 535.

Check the store locator on the Walmart website - I did last night for my shopping days and there are 3 or 4 within 5 to 7 miles of LBV so may well be one on I-drive - I'm heading for one at 3250 Vineland road

Tip.... Get the sales assistant on the phones desk to ring the 0800 number to start the phones up - do it at the begining of your shop as it will take about 45 mins if they are quick! Otherwise it will cost you a long phone call to start them. This is what we did and then later had to ring to start up the international dialling - maybe try to get the SA to do that there and then. This was 2 years ago so thing may have changed.;)

Thanks for that info disney cjd scooter place at disney broadwalk looks excellent and will get the book. Also Strull didnt mean to be harsh in reply but we wouldnt dream of jumping queus. We remember from prevous visits a while ago eating pack lunches at the entry to the parks and seeing people hop skip and jump to the scooter rental place then scoot off we asummed then, that you needed prove of disability to get a scooter I take it you dont. You have actually encouraged us that we may get on attractions quicker to make up for lost time and money else where. We dont expect special treatment but want to have fun like everyone else.
we are thinking of doing the disney dining plan this time, am I right in saying if you stay for 14 days in a disney hotel you have same days of, 2 meals and a snack (the cheapest plan, we will eat anything) so on a day you say go to universal you can have meal one in hotel at breakfast meal two when you get back in hotel at night and use snacks from prevous days ie fruit to take with you. Also not sure of what a snack consists of ?
    thanks

I also have just foudn this out - from the Dibb

-delivered to the villa door and collected----brought mine out on a sunday morning---booked with them again this year ---you pay a deposit and the rest in florida and they have a british office as well

Hi there, travelling to Orlando in May and the outgoing flight is not direct. We stop off at Chicago, then I think it's New York on the way back. I havent done this before, what happens with regards to luggage etc? Do we get it back and check on next flight, or is that automatically done for us? Dont want to presume things and end up with no luggage at the end!!
    TIA
