I said unlimited access as said to the OP not an unlimited ticket, you presumably have bought an Ultimate ticket rather than the Premium ticket that the OP was talking about.0

if you want to back to the same park later in the day, say leaving before lunch and returning in the late afternoon, can't you get your hand stamped and re-enter the park without using up another visit - this is what I thought the unofficial guidebook said you could do?Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -

If you have the Ultimate ticket you can come and go as you please, be that at the 4 main parks or the water parks/DisneyQuest.
However, if you have the Premium ticket you will have DAYS and PLUSSES.
The Days are for the 4 main parks and the Plusses are for the water parks/DisneyQuest.
With the 4 main parks you will have 5 or 7 days depending which ticket you buy. You can come and go to this parks as many times a day for the 5 or 7 days, only using one day per day.
With the water parks/DisneyQuest you will have 6 admissions with a 7 day Premium Ticket and 4 admissions with a 5 day Premium Ticket.
If you visit Blizzard Beach in the morning admission will be deducted. If you leave at lunch and return to Blizzard Beach you will not have another admission deducted.
However, if you decide to go to DisneyQuest that afternoon it will count as a separate admission and will have your 2nd of the day deducted.
Edit - just to add to the confusion....you get an extra admission per ticket if you use the link posted by Edinburghlass0 -
Hi Disney CJD
thanks for the replies, have looked at tiffany cars they look just the thing,
have not approached the school yet as am being cowardly !!! - going to ask them next week , the head is really nice and im hoping that as ive stayed away from the sats and any other major dates it wont be too bad !!!!
Now im just trying to work my way through the parks etc and get a plan going - now, I really need luck for that !!!!! Im going bog eyed looking at them all, although have had some good tips from reading other posts !0 -
Thanks for all the replies about premium v ultimate tickets.
Have just phoned Virgin back and was told yet again by the rep that the 5 day premium ticket gives me 14 days unlimited access to the main parks. I asked her to double check so she dicatated to me what it said on the website (reallly useful!). After much persistence from me she went to check with her supervisor and came back to tell me what all you MSE's have been saying that you only get 5 days access but within a 14 day period.
So - beware when buying tickets from Virgin:eek:
Have now changed these to 7 day premium at small extra costs (bizarely the extra cost for a child was £15 but for an adult on £12!)
Thanks everyone0 -

can anyone tell me how long you need to have left on your passport to visit the US, my hubby, me and my son will only have 11 months left on ours when we fly out on 6th june. my daughter has still got 3 years left on hers, i've been told by a few people now we will need at least a full year, i thought it was 6 months, i've tried to look on the US embassy website but can't see anything, i'm sure it's 6 months can anyone shed any light on this, starting to panic a little cos it will cost over £200 for new passports aahhh!!!!
Thanks0 -
i'm taking my little lad out of school for 2 weeks in June, we couldn't afford to go in school holidays and i really wanted to take him cos he's had a tough year, my mum his nanny passed away last May and Reece who was 3 at the time was devastated cos he was really close to his nanny inseperable really. he still talks about her and gets upset so i wanted to take him away, i've wrote and asked the school but not had a yes or no from them. I'm going to ask for reading books and any work he can do whilst on the plane so he's not completely missing out.0

Near the middle of this page it mentions 6 months.
ETA: I just noticed this on the page linked aboveAre there special considerations for lone parents travelling with children?
Lone parents travelling with children should be aware that some countries require documentary evidence of parental responsibility before allowing them travel. For further information on rules for the US please contact the US Embassy in London (see above.)
Has anyone even encountered any problem before? I have a copy of the court order stating the children live with me and just visit their dad. Would that be sufficient evidence?Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -

I have travelled with 3 months on my passport so do not worry you will be fine. My hubby has also travelled to the US with only a few weeks left. When I previously checked this with the US embassy they said they had relaxed their 6 months restriction but some airlines may have their own procedures... you will have absolutely no probs with 11 months though.
