    passport/driving licence is fine.

i'd take $50s and smaller, some places won't accept larger TCs, especially for smaller transactions - just like here, you wouldn't expect a shop to happy about you paying for a newspaper with a £20 or £50.

Looks pricey to me. £431 for a flexticket plus and a 14 day ultimate ticket. The 21 day ultimate is about £220 and the flex ticket plus about £150.00, which makes that ticket a big con. It looks like the same kind of deal that first choice do with their one ticket which is also a rip off at £450.

BTW The best deal I got was with virgin and manage my booking as I had booked through virgin holidays. Ive paid it all now, but my 21 day ultimate was £208 and flex ticket plus was £146. I go in May.

I saw a cracking poster the other day in one of the travel agents. It wasn't First Choice but was probably the same company. Anyway, it was advertising an 'exclusive' ticket which stopped you from missing anything in Florida by giving entrance into all the parks including these 'fab 4 theme parks: Aquatica, Manta, The Simpson's Ride and The Hollywood Space Rocket'

hhhmmmmmmmm...I decided not to bother even asking any questions

Hello Chatnoir i think these tickets are really pricey , I appreciate you have purchased yours already but for others reading this ,you probably will find cheaper searching through these pages and asking for help. Also keep an on any special offers. And if the pound = Dollar gets better the ticket offers may come down.
  • I agree these are pricey, i've always found http://www.orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk/ pretty good and the give you the real ticket and not an eticket so you don't have to queue on the first trip to the park to exchange it.

Anyway it is sad that because of the dollar the orlando flex ticket plus is now almost £50 more expensive this year than last year. It's worth shopping around now as these site are almost changing in price day to day.

just a piece of info for anyone hiring a car. if your car has a sunpass ticket inside it (which means you can go straight through the toll booths), don't use it. take cash and pay at a booth.

if you do use it, you are charged the toll, plus $2.50 a day for every day you have the car (it's in small print in the window on the sunpass sticker)

somehow it's supposed to be cheaper, in the week I've been back, I can't see how it is.
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

Doing some reading up, it looks like you get a discount on the toll (about 5%), but this is done by rebate?

Did you actually use it? Did the hire car company charge you?

Maybe the hire company are just charging you $2.50/day for the convenience of not having to carry cash and stop at every toll both?

Not worth it if you aren't travelling far. If I remember correctly, the only times we used toll-roads when we were out there was going to Kennedy Space Centre.

Further reading found this in the Customer Agreement on the SunPass site
Section 5. Choosing the right SunPass® Customer Account Type.
5.3 Rental Car Toll Collection Service Accounts:
Rental car customers of national rental car companies are given a choice to: (1) pay cash at toll booths when using toll roads, (2) pay the cash rate of tolls plus a minimal daily fee, or (3) pay a flat daily fee for unlimited tolls.
