Can anyone help I have been pricing tickets and have been quoted £213 for a 14 day Ultimate ticket and £165 for a Flexiplus ticket this seems like a good deal through a travel agent only snag is they are e-tickets, how easy are e-tickets to exchange and how long would we expect to queue. I am going last week in July. Also would we have to exchange at two different parks ie Universal and Disney.
    Thanks;)

Can you use the transport and visit some of these places even if you haven't got a hopper pass?

So if we spent a day at MK and then wanted to go and see what the resorts were like, can we get transport and have a nosy?
if you have time, catch the monorail to the contempary hotle have a look round then catch the boat over to fort wilderness, and have a look over there, its a really lovely opposite to the hustle and bustle of the park, and the restaurant over there (cant remember the name) has the best value food! theres some nice walks over there. then catch the same things back to mk. the polyensian is a great resort to inside the lobby is amazing.

Dunno much about etickets but £165 for the flexticket plus seems very cheap as i've seen rates of around £185 for it elsewhere.

I assume this is the 6 park flex ticket and not the 5 park you are getting?

Yes it is the six park ticket but will double check before booking.

It's very cheap then, worth a double check i think but if all above board then well done.

thanks in advance for any help.
well it does get complicated me (30) and my wife (28) are going with my brother (40) his wife (40) and 3 young kids (oldest is 9 then 7 youngest is 3)

the 5 of them are going for 14 days and me + wife are going for 10 days (the last 10 days of the main grps holiday)

If we work on the 10 days, that would mean visiting:

    Magic Kingdom
    Epcot
    Disney Holywood Studios
    Animal Kingdom
    Sea World
    Universal Studios

Do you want to do the water parks, Kennedy Space centre etc?

Might be worth having a chat with your brother and finding out if they want to do things that you don't as that would make a difference.

A Disney 5 day premium ticket (if I have got this right), will let you do 5 visits within 14 days + 5 visits to the minor attractions (water parks, disney quest etc). That way you could all do the parks together and your brother would have visits to the minor things available for before you arrive. (For an extra few pounds your brother could go up to the 7 day).

My one tip would be don't try and do too much (I am reading one of the guides at the moment, and someone said they walked an average of 13 miles a day at each park!!)

You already sorted out flights, hotels etc etc?

E tickets are simple to exchange. You just go to any ticket booth at the entrance to any park and they put the number into their computer and then your tickets get printed out. It takes about 2 minutes. I was there In January for the Walt Disney World marathon weekend and I got mine at the Expo at Wide World of Sports.

    Easy peasy!

    hi nala,

thanks for the reply, didnt want to use the car for the first week, in which we are planning to do all the disney parks, so it is possible to travel between parks quite easily then ???

also, what is disneyquest ? cant find it on the disney website - and is it worth a visit

    thanks again

I loved Disney Quest! There's a really cool white water rafting game where you sit in a real size boat and paddle and the boat goes up and down on a cushion of air. Fab!
  • I'm going to Port Orleans FQ next week, could anyone help me with the following questions.

Can you change travellers cheques at the resort and in the parks and do you need ID.

Is there a bus to Universal Studios from the resort.

    Thanks for any help.

If you're taking $ travellers cheques, you won't need to change them, they're accepted like cash in most, if not all, shops/restaurants etc. Whether you are asked for ID depends on the shop/restaurant, and maybe the value of the transaction.

(can't help with the bus question, sorry)
