hi everyone, i am looking for a bit of advice and would welcome any comments;)

Off to orlando in march and have been looking at 2 park universal tickets valid for 14 days and £80 + Orlando Magic b/ball tickets at £64 for ticket and coach.

Seen these advertised on https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk and was wondering if anyone has had dealings with them good/bad or could point me in the direction of good ticket sites.

as i said any comments would be appreciated:D

only heard good things about them. They also sponsor the Disney Brit podcast https://www.disneybrit.com

  • I know it been asked 50 thousand times but couldn't find much on the seatch.

I was going to go with economy car hire but they don't seem to be doing car hire in Orlando for any dates.

I am looking to hire 2nd june to 16th June for Sanford airport. (2 adults only).

I am wondering if you can give me idea on who the best and cheapest to go with which will give me all of the insurance I need and have an no excess policy.

I am currently looking at carhire3000 and uscarhire...have you any other or better options if these are not recommended.
  • i would recommend the information centre on internal drive (quite close to titanic museum) the ladies were so helpful gave us some great deals on hotels. also my wife filled in a questionaire (took her all of 3 mins) and was awarded with a lady razor set (selling in boots at £6!)..
im tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!

I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it :D

Come on Strull I know you like to be a little blunt but ...

People with challenges (as they say in America) should get all the help they need so that they can share in the magic. I know my father woudl not be able to walk around WDW all day with teh kids without his stick etc.

What is wrong is certain types of people who use the ECV scooters to queue jump when they have no mobility issues at all. We have all seem them and know what I mean,. thats wrong and as there are not many of these scooters available to hire is sometimes stops those that need it.

The link to allears posted above is very good. The editor in cheif of that site (the old WDWIG) is Debs Willis, she has also written a book on going to Disnmey with challanges. http://www.amazon.com/PassPorters-Mouse-Disney-World-Cruise/dp/158771048X

There is also a place right in Disney Boardwlak that offers scooter rentals for your entire staywww.buenavistascooters.com or 407-938-0349.

Thanks for that info disney cjd scooter place at disney broadwalk looks excellent and will get the book. Also Strull didnt mean to be harsh in reply but we wouldnt dream of jumping queus. We remember from prevous visits a while ago eating pack lunches at the entry to the parks and seeing people hop skip and jump to the scooter rental place then scoot off we asummed then, that you needed prove of disability to get a scooter I take it you dont. You have actually encouraged us that we may get on attractions quicker to make up for lost time and money else where. We dont expect special treatment but want to have fun like everyone else.
we are thinking of doing the disney dining plan this time, am I right in saying if you stay for 14 days in a disney hotel you have same days of, 2 meals and a snack (the cheapest plan, we will eat anything) so on a day you say go to universal you can have meal one in hotel at breakfast meal two when you get back in hotel at night and use snacks from prevous days ie fruit to take with you. Also not sure of what a snack consists of ?
    thanks

There is a massive list of what a "snack" constitutes- you'll know what they are when you're in WDW as they are stickered accordingly, but off the top of my head one snack credit would get you one of the following:

    Bottle of water
    Piece of fruit
    Cake / Bakery item
    Bag of Chips (crisps)
    Ice cream
Mickey Mouse Crispie Bar (my favourite ;) )

    etc etc

Loads of info here on anything and everything you could want to ask about the Dining Plan. http://allears.net/pl/packages08a.htm

And yes, you can carry forward any snacks / meals to a different day - they only expire at midnight on the day you check out, so any not used then would be wasted (tip: spare snacks could be used to take home sweet treats as presents :) )

ETA (Just because I'm nosey ;) ) which WDW hotel are you planning to stay at?
